I think she feels empty inside and is constantly trying to fill that void.

Re: DulceCandy87 General Thread Part 2
Like wtf is going on with this chick? I commented on her latest YT vid that I'm really confused, and some idiots are really questioning my confusion. I'm sorry, but what the hell is wrong with her. Every other video is about her finding a passion or some enlightenment, how can someone every few months have this experience of finding out their lifelong dream, or journey or passion. Good grief.
Please bear with me, English is my second language

Re: DulceCandy87 General Thread Part 2
So they pretty much gutted the entire house? Why not just build a new house? Would probably be cheaper and easier. You could get exactly what you want, your own design. Were they THAT attached to it's location/neighborhood?

Was she bigger back in the day on youtube? I see that she has 2 million+ subscribers, but I looked her up on socialblade, and she doesn't make that much money.
I remember seeing a few of her videos waaaay back when.

you know what? watching her "death of a pet + life update" video pissed me off to lengths i cannot even begin to describe. it came up in my recommended ones and since i hadn't watched her for a while, i thought i'd check it out.
she really is absolutely delusional. she has epiphanies every other week and nothing ever makes her happy! first it was the law of attraction, then jesus, and now whatever the fuck she's on this week. and what a materialistic bitch - talking about her fucking nails getting done by some place that did jlo's, all while her fucking dog died. and she didn't even fucking try to HELP chanel. THE DOG WAS OVERHEATING AND SHE PUT IT IN HER FUCKING BAG!!!!!!!!!!!
i genuinely hate her. i don't hate many people, but she's one of the dumbest people on the planet.

Re: DulceCandy87 General Thread Part 2
Short version of what happened to the dog
She took her dog on a high elevation hike and her dog started having trouble breathing, so Dulce put the dog in her backpack and her dog started overheating until the park ranger told Dulce to take the dog out. The dog is "panting heavily", refusing/unable to drink water at this point, and "kinda almost like not being able to breathe." That night, the dog was "barely eating anything" and not going to the bathroom/having very small amounts of diarrhea. (The video edit feels so harsh here - Dulce just goes from talking about her very sick dog to "So when I woke up" like they just said oh well! and went to bed.) The next day, Dulce says the dog "looks like she's feeling a lot better" because... get this, "she was happy. she was walking and stuff." (Apparently anything less than collapsed on the ground = healthy dog! Was she not walking before??) So she starts on the 4 hour drive and her dog is in the backseat "chillin, relaxing, took some naps." and she apparently let them out around the halfway mark and the multiple dogs "peed a little." Now she says "We get home, first thing I do is go upstairs - oh after we dismounted the truck (?) - and I showered. I feel good, I'm gonna paint my nails, hair wrapped up in a towel, got my box of nail polishes..." and she says Jesse is outside getting stuff from the truck. (I'm guessing as soon as they arrived, Dulce raced in to shower while Jesse just released the dogs into the house and then started carrying things in). She also mentions that she gates the dogs in the living room so they don't "go all over the house and pee all crazy" (Train your dogs then, dulce!). So Dulce comes downstairs with her nail polish and sees the dog lying down in her favorite spot. The dog looks up at Dulce, then dies. And Dulce says "And I really feel like she waited to see me to die." and later "I feel like she did wait for me because I was her mom." and then when you think it cant get worse, Dulce says "I swear to you, I saw like a white mist come out of her body like seconds after she died."
My sweet dog is here sleeping next to me and when I saw that video, I just cried and kissed him. I recently had an exhausting move to a new place and I know the feeling of wanting to come home and shower and rest, but when you have pets (or kids), you give that up. The pets come first. The pets get comfortable first. You sit with the pets for a long while to make sure they're adjusting alright. You immediately notice ANY changes in their eat/sleep/play habits. The dog's death was completely preventable and unforgivable.

Re: DulceCandy87 General Thread Part 2
The California house market is so different from anywhere else. A house can go on and off the market in a single day and people pay tens of thousands over asking, in cash. It's extremely competitive. You don't get to "fall in love with" a house. You take the first house you can get, even if you have to remodel the whole thing afterward. Whether or not it's practical or aesthetically recommended to remodel is a different thing, but the concept isn't that uncommon.

Re: DulceCandy87 General Thread Part 2
In one of her last videos she's talking about her new house and how she's going to build like "small cabin" in her backyard because she's always wanted to live in a cottage etc etc and then goes on to ramble about how she's always wanted to have one and explains how girlyy/cozy it will be etc etc
And Im here thinking "this woman is nuts". She still remodeling her new house and she's thinking about how she's always wanted a cottage.
I can't remember which video this was in, but it was so cringey. It wasn't just a comment like "and here Im going to make a lil cottage because Ive always wanted one"... she goes full off topic and explains all about it. Delirious.
She's always talking about how she has changed over the years: her shopping habits, minimalism, acceptance, happines, even God... but when she speaks you can totally tell that's what she wants to believe and that she's the same she's always been: an insecure girl who will never be happy with what she has. ALways looking for the next thing to buy or be excited about.

Re: DulceCandy87 General Thread Part 2
I am not subscribed to her, I've just seen a few of her vlogs here and there. I know she has been around youtube for a while, and she's somehow "made it big" -- as evidenced by her buying a house and practically gutting it and rebuilding it. I watched her Oct. 24 vlog because it was advertised on my home page, and was surprised to learn that she recently also bought an $80000+ Audi? I'm just surprised at how these youtubers spend their money like it grows on trees. I guess YT must pay a lot?

They don't make much from Adsense on their YouTube videos. Well..by not much I mean a basic salary of maybe 30k-80k. The real money comes from their sponsorships. I work in that industry and someone with the amount of IG followers she has can charge like $40,000 for one IG post. Her YouTube channel is similar and Twitter maybe a little less but still like $10k. So basically 2 or 3 sponsored Instagram posts can pay her car off lolCcc123000 wrote:I am not subscribed to her, I've just seen a few of her vlogs here and there. Re: DulceCandy87 General Thread Part 2
^ I thought that's how much the Kardashians get paid - not a YouTuber
Re: DulceCandy87 General Thread Part 2
I recently read an article that Kardashians earn around 400K per IG post - not even going into other social media so I guess it sounds about right how much the influencers get paid.lotus wrote:^ I thought that's how much the Kardashians get paid - not a YouTuber

Gross, why is her husband growing out his hideous beard and shaving around it to look like a member of ISIS?

Regardless of how much Dulce gets paid it seems kinda ridiculous how much youtubers are making for what they do.Missy00 wrote:I recently read an article that Kardashians earn around 400K per IG post - not even going into other social media so I guess it sounds about right how much the influencers get paid.lotus wrote:^ I thought that's how much the Kardashians get paid - not a YouTuber
