i quit watching jarmaine when she started getting really uppity about how she's "not like other gurus" and how she doesn't drive a fancy car and does walgreens hauls (to the point where she sounded kind of bitter and embarrassing) a couple years ago and she just randomly came up in my recommendations and yikes, she's aging like milk.

I actually just watched that video about "the older boyfriend". I don't really have a problem with relationships with big age difference, as long as the younger party is over 21 (I just feel like any age starting with a "1" you are gullible) and it's a healthy relationship (that goes for everyone though). I've gone back and forth on the subject so you could probably quote me saying something else... people change their minds I guess. I can't say I've NEVER found a man 20 years my senior attractive... I just think things can be a problem if they're a pattern (i.e. you ALWAYS go for much older/younger).

That said I chuckled when she said "I keep it private out of respect for him... and other people who are involved" - just say "his kids that are my age". Sometimes ignoring the elephant in the room makes it look even stranger. I think that's the main thing that creeps me out about it... it's one thing to have an age difference, I personally would be real uncomfortable with someone who's attracted to people their own child's age. That would be a bridge too far for me personally.
