All right, I've been watching this post, I got some stuff to say....
Megan could take a cue from Chloe Dykstra. (Internet famous for dating Neil Cicierega first, now more famous because she's very good-looking and gives herself a very large online presence, plus she's dating Chris Hardwick, and her dad works on some pretty big movies. Google her. Chloe Dykstra.) When she was about 20 I guess, someone leaked nudes she had put on a private photobucket account as a 16 year old. She didn't freak out, she just handled it. She addressed it in her livejournal (her main website at the time) and contacted site admins everywhere she saw it, and they were legally obligated to take them down. No one judged her for it because she was so level-headed and mature about it. She later issued a statement, which you can see here:

Megan can learn from her. If Megan were to talk about it and not just delete everything until "it blows over", it would be better in the end. I don't know why she ever thought trying to dupe all her subs would work. She should just be open and mature about it. Just say, people posted some private pictures of mine, I'm trying to control it, please let me know if you see any so I can delete them.
People still post Chloe's pictures on threads she's posted on reddit, but you know what? People downvote that shit, and it's quickly deleted by mods. Chloe didn't act guilty, so people don't see her as guilty. Megan's subs are, frankly, generally young teenage idiots. They take Megan's cue on how to act about things. If Megan just condemns the people who posted the pictures (as she should, I don't think she was at fault), her subs will follow suit and the hate won't fall upon her.
Also, shutting everything down and not talking about it just makes everything more dramatic. Again, people will take cues from Megan, she should react the way she wants others to.
