Calling all Boy Meets World fans, the part of Cory&Topaga's daughter has been casted...

Rowan Blanchard is her name and am I the only one extremely disappointed with the choice? I was expecting a blonde or at least a light brunette. I read that the only two from the original cast that will be main characters are Cory&Topanga. Others may guest star but that's it. So far, kinda disappointed, but we'll see. Any predictions for the show? Thoughts?

They can never capture that feeling you get from watching the original show but I still think it has potential to be a decent show.

I'm looking forward to it. I think the little girl is adorable. Kind of reminds me a bit of a younger Corey.

At first I thought she looked really Asian. But now I definitely think she looks like young Cory I didn't at all think she would be blonde since neither Cory nor Topanga have blonde hair. But since she's so young I have a feeling it won't be that similar to Boy Meets World. I was hoping for life lessons like BMW, but that all depends on what channel it will be airing on. Does anyone know? Last time I heard it was either Disney Channel or ABC Family.

It's going to be on Disney. Which is what also concerned me. BMW, while GMW will never compare, dealt with teen relationships realistically and also Shawn's character had to be heavily edited in the Disney versions of BMW and those were the life lessons people need to see.

Also, Topanga was a blonde on BMW.

I'm unsure of this show. I love BMW and I'm scared it won't be nearly as good. Especially with BMG on Disney!

Then she will probably end up being a singer or in a band. My little sisters watch Disney channel and its a completely different channel now. Every kid on the show is a singer or in a band I swear O_0

I was excited until I heard it was gonna be on Disney. Now I'm almost positive it's gonna be cheesy as HELL. I loved Boy Meets World and honestly I think that girl was a good choice; I can see both Topanga and Corey in her--more Corey, though.

i think this show is going to be cheesy in the worst possible way (because it's disney), but it just might be popular enough since the target audience probably never seen boy meets world and eat this terrible disney channel stuff up. also, the exposure from those who watched BMW (like us) would boost it a bit.

The girl's 11. Seems standard. A lot of these actors start out young. Miley and Selena were like 13 when they started filming their respective shows.
