Okay, maybe I'm being OVERLY harsh but this one time wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't everytime. Like, I usually wouldn't pick up on this but this thread has really opened my eyes on how she subtlely inserts herself into everything. She could have used it as an opportunity to talk about the racial injustices the character faces, how well the author handled the topic etc.

Instead she basically said 'this books talks about racism. I know about racism but I don't experience racism' Very insightful comments.

Okay, but also in her defence it's nice she is reading more diversely and not just about cookie-cutter white characters like in her own books.

For those interested in the stats: last thread was 37 days, exactly the same as the one before, but with slightly higher posts per day of 28.08 (vs. 27.62). Surprisingly Carrie hasn't managed to do anything shockingly dense recently (just her usual level of density) which might explain the last two threads being on the slower side.

the newest picture with Oliver is cute and he actually looks like he cares about her for once.

I found it funny how she is "I'M SO BUSY ALL THE TIME, I CAN'T DO ANYTHING" as an excuse to not watch Six but has gone and see Oliver a few times on his musical. Someone said the Six tickets are hard to get but almost all the Six actresses follow Carrie, I wouldn't be surprised if she can manage free tickets, she just doesn't want to see the musical.

Nah, I think he's the main character and focus of the show so I don't think it is a dig, just slightly poorly worded
