First her secret way of getting people's e-mail and information, after that her sudden launch, then the sad ass subscribers party, now people reviewing her palette before she could do it herself and the recent leak of the price. Hahaha she really is stupid ha. A normal person would first announce it and make a video about it showing the product and the swatches, giving the price and launchdate. After that she could send some PR to influencers and maybe throw a subscribers party afterwards. What was the logic behind this to do everything backwards hahaha. I love watching this shit show. Everything goes sooo wrong

Also, I just watched a video from Serien Wu who swatched the palette, my god..it really is HORRIBLE. Those glitters are CHUNKY, I got an eye infection just from watching it. The mattes SUCK, there is noooo pigment what so ever. The poor girl is swatching so hard to get enough product and later says that the eyeshadow really shows up on your eyes and not so much on your arms. YEAH RIGHT. We in Europe can get WAY BETTER palettes from Primark and that store is cheap af.

I'm just confused about why she hasn't even posted a video for the palette, yet she already sent it as pr and people are making reviews on it. Also, what's with that note writing on the inside of the box, is she really going to do that for every person that buys it? This is all so against any logic.

Tati Beauty is trademarked by Tati Cosmetics Inc. who has James listed as the sole owner. Curious as to why she never seems to list herself as an owner in her companies, it almost always seems to be under just James.

He’s the “brains” and she’s the “face” maybe? I don’t know. Maybe he swindled her into this so she could never leave him, but they’re 2 crooked peas in a pod, so that’ll likely never happen.

It honestly really bothers me that she's the model in all of her product shots. She never hires models. I would love to see it on other people and not just her. It would showcase the product better. Even J* uses models in his advertisements.

needing a wet base is something of a euphemism for "this eyeshadow sucks", isn't it? Anyway, I don't really want anything over 20 bucks to "need" a wet base, unless it's a super unusual formula that does something no regular shadow does.

Yeah and revolution eyeshadows are shit apparently because they need a base. I swear to god if I see ANYONE review this who has previously called cheap eyeshadows shit, and is now spending $50 on this overpriced trash and saying it's awesome, I WILL spit blood in their comments

IDK I mean from the looks of it Tati's formula is going to suck, I have zero interest in her products BUT I think that these days most shimmer formulas need a wet base. I've been doing my make up since I was like 10 (for theater) and 13 (for personal use) and back in the day I used Cover Girl eyeshadows and they were nice and shimmery but nothing like we see today and the formula was talc based and totally different. Nowadays I have not met a shimmer that didn't need to be wet. I mean some shimmers you can apply dry, but they won't look great/their best and most will crumble a bit. Even my Anastasia shimmers need to be used wet if I want them to be reflective....so I don't think it means anything that a shadow needs to be used wet. I think with the current popular formulas and the looks people expect to achieve it's more or less needed regardless of the brand.

With how much 'fall out' and particles that is happening just in the palette alone from the people playing with it, on posts I've seen.. I just don't think it will be a good clean eyeshadow to use. I can imagine it just petering out everywhere, covering your shirt, cheeks etc. I feel like if you tried to do a bunch of blending with it, it's just not going to work, and will cause even more fallout.

Plus with how deep people are clearly digging to get into the glitters, tells me again the formula and glitter isn't anywhere near as great as she makes out! I feel like you'd need to use a whole heap of the pan just to get the glitter effect you're after in one use, and then you'll still be disappointed.

Editing to add a vid I found on instagram of her making a speech at her 'launch' party for the subscribers, because she wanted THEM to have it before any influencers.. lol.

Is is just me, or did only like 10 people show up to this? And why are people wearing pageant/prom gowns?

was tidy up my palettes and realised she basically just copy huda textured palette
the main difference would be that orange and huda's metallic and shimmer works really well,
especially rose gold and trust fund can act as glitter shade, very high shine even without wet it, but still feel like eye shadow.
