I felt a little bit sorry for her when she begged for "likes"--then she blamed it on the algorithm, and my compassion disappeared. Emily, you need to:

1. Learn to apply (and BLEND!!!) eyeshadow!
2. Try out new products soon after you receive them. Don't let that high-end foundation gather dust while you do yet another Walmart Covergirl and WetnWild haul.
3. Collab with other beauty Youtubers. You might learn something!
4. Aim for more natural/relatable looks. Not everyone wants to look like a 1960's Miss America for school pickup.
5. Vlogs go on your vlog channel. I know that you have one!

I stopped watching her videos because her eyeshadow placement and blending is so bad. It reminds me of something from the 1980's. Why is she so fixated on drug store makeup when she gets plenty of high end PR.

Nothing new here with this stagnant cow. Her recent pleas for support and the tackier than ever Emily awards this year is peak pathetic. She is honestly the laziest parent i've ever seen. You have your parents help you EVERY SINGLE DAY with child care and this is the type of content you're able to produce? And your kids literally have a whole village raising them and they still eat like crap? My god.

Emily Awards - welcome to old crap products that make you look 20 years older. No one has liked the new Nars foundation because it looks heavy, valet and dry but of course she loves it for coverage and uses too much. I dread to think how her face looks in person. Also the powder foundation L’Oréal powder is NOTHING like the Charlotte Tilbury powder. Again, thick and cakey overload wins. I give up. So many nice and quality products on the market (including drugstore) yet she chooses old crap that is less than flattering.

Using a photo already posted but I have to ask this. Why doesn’t she ever apply eyeshadow up here? see circle. She has a lot of lid space yet it stays super low I can’t see any color unless she is looking down. Trying to understand the dated eyeshadow look mentioned.

You are right. That makes her eyes more hoodies if that can be possible.

She is stuck is the 2000 makeup, do not convince to change her routine, same brows, same blush, same lips, same hair.

I did lol. My sister got me an eyeshadow palette I wanted for Christmas, and I wanted to play with it. That plus having zoom calls with family, I didn't want to look like a zombie. Its not like I "needed" to wear it, but I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing it

I'm pretty new to this Emily thread so haven't read much. I just finished using her latest upload, Antihaul...and WISH-LIST, as background noise when I noticed the window blinds next to her left ear moving as she moved her head. It totally distracted me from her "...if I don't get this in PR I'm not buying this" bs.

Has she been filtering her videos long? Has anyone noticed this? Has it been discussed?

Yes she does put filter on her videos (in Vlogs especially) and her normal videos have the worst lightening ever - it’s all so washed out and white that you cannot tell the colours or difference between tones etc. She’ll never change it. She doesn’t care.
