I doubt it is.
I remember when I was like 13-14 I'd make up dumb shit like this to seem like boys at my school or wherever thought I was so beautiful etc.
It's more of a self worth thing for sure.
She isn't as happy with herself as she says she is.
She also isn't serious about the guy she was seeing in LA if she's off every week getting drunk and most probably making out with guys who compliment her.
I personally think it's the worst part about this whole dating thing she's doing, she talks about being so interested in someone but then also goes clubbing and hooks up with others.
Not saying she can't go clubbing but at least show some sorta loyalty if you're actually interested.

If she were confident and happy with herself like she says she is, she wouldn't make a big deal about something like this.
