Aw, Jen, I like this new title a lot! She's been posting on her Instagram more, at least her stories, and most of it is plants - I wonder if we're going to take a hard left turn from ratchet beauty salon to ratchet plant nursery.

Is Jenna still taking ideas from the comments on what videos to make? I get she does the podcast and twitch but I think she needs to take a break and reassess if YT is something she wants to do. I doubt she'll do it because her content seems easy to make.

Re: Jenna's Nursery for Plants and Manchildren - Part 9
I have to thank Jenna, the plant video gave me inspiration to try again with my favorite flower ever: the gardenia! I ordered a sprout a few years ago and, maybe I just had bad luck or I missed something, despite all my research I absolutely murdered that poor plant. I now have two plants: a mini and large variety, the mini came with buds which are all blooming now! It really is a rewarding experience and I can see how she could take a sense of accomplishment and self-worth away from this hobby.

While I totally agree with you, I can't see her making any change in approach when that unbearable video about teaching Marbles to sit got 4m views and a spot on trending.midnightshade wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 12:16 pmIs Jenna still taking ideas from the comments on what videos to make? I never even checked it out. Well with the figures she gets and getting on trending there is no incentive to change so unfortunately yeah she won't won't change her approach. She still has a decent following and I don't see it changing anytime soon.Broodwich wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:50 pmWhile I totally agree with you, I can't see her making any change in approach when that unbearable video about teaching Marbles to sit got 4m views and a spot on trending.midnightshade wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 12:16 pmIs Jenna still taking ideas from the comments on what videos to make? I think it’s nice she has a strong passion for the plant hobby, though obviously her “too much gene” kicked in with the amount of plants she has lol
I’m sure it keeps her relatively sane. It’s nice to see something make her so happy though.

First of all, I know barely anything about training dogs. The only training I have done is nintendogs
But isn't pushing his butt down counter productive? Or does it actually help?
Like Jenna's videos are random, but this one takes the biscuit.

I think it helps in the beginning. You give them a treat after you push their butt down while saying “sit” and they associate that act with a treat. After a while they should catch on and do it automatically because they know it’ll earn them something yummy lol That’s how we trained my dogs anyway.pale-blue-monster wrote:First of all, I know barely anything about training dogs. I was more curious about her tone of voice when she said “sit.” It almost seemed too soft and blend in with the rest of her sentence. Not sayin she had to yell or anything, but I was wondering whether her differentiating or clarifying “sit” more would have made a difference. But then she used the same tone and he sat on the carpet so maybe that works too.
