None of these people are actually friends. Shane doesn't have any friends. Just like James Charles wasn't "friends" with a 37 year-old mean girl, Shane isn't friends with Tana, Jake, or anyone else. He uses people who can benefit him, then he dumps them and moves on. I can't think of a single genuine YouTube friendship.

100% agree about him not being friends with these people. I mean, he hardly saw Tana after those few collab videos until Tanacon blew up and he saw it as a chance to make some money. The fact that Tana was so vulnerable (not defending her in the slightest) made it easy for him to act like they were so close so he could play YouTube Dr. Phil. He only claims he's friends with Jake because he wants his audience to believe that his whole series in trying to understand and make Jake a good guy wasn't a complete flop after he immediately went back to his old ways. He only really seems to be friends with Jeffree, but I doubt they would be hanging out had their first series not gone so well. The only real YouTube friendship I trust is between Dan and Phil, they actually seem like genuine friends and you can tell from their videos whether together or separately that they really do value each other (Idk if they are actually together or not, they still have a great relationship regardless). Shane plays Dr. Phil where he'll care about someone, let them and himself get a little bump in fame and relevancy, and then go onto the next person to 'fix'. If he actually cared about Jake or Tana he would have told them both to get their fucking act together and not sit there and support them through everything (even a crying session and the most painful almost 2 hour video of someone trying to come up with lie on top of lie). I get that you don't want to surround yourself with people who have opposite views and negative things to say about you, but don't surround yourself with someone who's just going to pretend to care and then only ever reach out to you through inappropriate tweets or to profit off of you some more. That's just as bad if not worse.

Tana just posted a mukbang video on her Chanel where she is at Shane’s house with the squad. He’s at least in regular clothes in this one

I hate how in every video Shane appears in he acts so catty and bitchy and alludes to people not liking him, knowing that his rabid fans will go after those people and give them hell over literally nothing. Seems like he does collabs shortly before he releases a new video. Plus Tana still thinks Shane is some sort of role model to her so she doesn't see that he's using her for hype and content. He's doing it as a tactic to get her audience interested in him in time for his new video. Surprised he's doing a collab since him and Andrew are just soooo busy editing. Boy just needs to admit that they have lives outside of filming and editing and aren't doing it 24/7. Mentioned Dan and Phil already as I used to be a big fan, but those two only did a video like once a month and had a lot of other commitments outside of YouTube and still managed to keep their audience entertained before this year came around and they both changed up a lot of things. Shows that Shane is just scared of losing interest so he promises videos are coming soon.

OMG Shane will jump onto any trend for attention...I don’t follow him on twitter because ugh (the thought gave me full body shivers) but looking through tweets and likes you can see how he jumps onto a topic or trend that is getting exposure...rn he’s doting after Taylor swift (I love her but if he doesn’t keep his nasty pig paws away). Also it’s funny to me how he jumped onto this jojo siwa loving train thing when everyone else was noticing how weird she is and then turning her into a joke...idk he’s so weird

He will latch on anything for a view or like. So it doesn't really shock me. I don't personally understand the obsession people have with Jojo Siwa. She seems like a harmless but annoying little girl.

Of course he is going to love Taylor right now. He was ready to have his attack animals after her a few years ago with that parody that did go a little too far. Bart Baker made her look like a possed monster. Shane would literally have her killing and getting killed. It was a little disturbing and her people had every right to take it down.

It's pride month and he has to remind everyone he is a member of the LGBT community somehow considering he doesn't make regular videos anymore. I couldn't make it through those videos even when I was still liking Shane's content. They were some of the last ones I got to anyways cause it didn't seem that interesting, but when I finally got around to it it just made me feel so off
