Cowbway probably didn't realise that we had decided to hide our foulest criticisms of Gross by disguising the text as a waffle about a popular TV series. We did it because Gross was using our discussions as subject matter for his videos... I should imagine it was a strain for non-GoT to wade through some of our recent posts. I don't mind if my posts are deleted, it's not like I said anything of import during the barren period. Thanks Cowbway for being open with your criticism. I think we were just so bored. Of course, there is a social element to us interacting and keeping this thread going I enjoy reading what other GGers write. I think we were just bonding with common interests, I've seen a side to people I haven't seen previously.

I miss Hollander too but he's fulfilled and in love so I'm glad.

So the first thing I noticed about Gross was how he was speaking. Soft, gentle. In short, when he speaks like that he thinks he's manipulating people. I've seen him do it, use that tone quite a lot when he wants something and is telling lies.

Yes, I've noticed that voice Gross assumes when he's smarming his audience. I think he is pally with Cole, my theory is that they split because the marriage was just for views, a lark. Your marriage sounds to encompass the wide spectrum of a stable relationship, but I doubt Gross can comprehend what you are explaining. I get the impression that his parents live in the same house, but they don't seem to have a vibrant relationship with each other or their adult children. Gross probably only has movies for reference on stable, loving relationships that have weathered the lives of the people involved. From what we've seen he seems unable to make sacrifices for those he claims he's close to. I don't want to get all psychological, but he's probably experiencing arrested development - everything seems to centre around his own infantile needs.

You know the meaning of 'briefly' I fear not! Thanks for the entertainment. Yes, my brain is a tiny bit smaller than it once was and sometimes I am mentally tired and a tad crabby as a result. I do worry I'm posting absolute crap here. Luckily I have therapeutic elements to my work and don't need to do intellectually demanding work. It's been months now since I was discharged from hospital and physio, I'm still not as sharp as I once was and it'll be a long journey back to the fitness I once had. It pains me to see someone like Gross not value his health and opportunities. He probably hasn't seen people in his own age group encounter serious illness or accident. He's pissing his life away and there seems to be little chance of him getting out of the slow decline into which he has descended. I hope he can manage to escape his situation, there is a lot to live for!!

I doubt Gross sells any where near the same amount of merchandise that Lux does. Gross also doesn't have the same views or post at the same rate as Lux. Gross stopped treating his channel as business last year. I think there is little similarity in the performance and success of the two channels. Rich Lux had the good sense to court Starr whereas Gross just managed to piss off Starr and Charles in an attempt one-up them - that's not how you get on in business.

Rich films in his house, developed a personality, is friends with teresa and Jeffrey star, started fans using gay queen terms like 'read' and clock it the house. He's likable and funny and has video standards. He's made documentary type films. He owns plenty of luxury items. He's intelligent and fun.
