I do makeup for fun and as a hobby I’m pretty good at it (toot toot) but I’d never call myself a MUA because I’m not. I didn’t go to school for it and don’t have the actual skills to do makeup on others. I don’t know how to work with other types of skin textures or facial structures that aren’t mine. Same with different eye and nose shapes. They’re all different and require different techniques not the same typical highlight and contour face chart you see Youtubers or IGers using. Also skin color and undertones! There’s more to it than just knowing how to blend some eyeshadow

Thank you for saying this. As someone who’s actually in beauty school it’s annoying that Gabi is calling herself a MUA because she did some friends makeup at 14. Not to say that you cant be talented without school, because some people absolutely are, and Gabi is not one of them. You legally can be a makeup artist without schooling, but it absolutely shows the difference.
And it really bothered me she told that person in her comments she “used to do what they do” because she didn’t... she didnt go to school, she didn’t earn a certificate or license and learn application techniques for all skin types or learn color theory. Nor did she practice as a “makeup artist” long enough to self teach those things. Shes not “successful” for her makeup skills shes “successful” for being an Ariana copy cat.

Sorry yall, doublepost but of the three sisters alex is the only one with her shit together. She got an education, although i'm not sure how far she'll go with a degree in theatre or whatever. Her boyfriend is a real MAN, they seem secure and happy. Meanwhile niki and gabi both have identity issues and date these 12 y/o looking soyboys. May i remind everyone how gabi even started this relationship...They both have nothing to offer in a relationship. They should get therapy and figure themselves out, deal with their identity issues and obvious insecurities because they have no place in a serious relationship rn, they're both a big ass mess. I love how she said in her insta story about taking it down it was because “YouTube age restricted it and none of you guys could watch it”. But pretty sure when she was getting some hate about posting it she was claiming most of her audience is between 18-30 lol.
