Some influencers mention other (often bigger) influencers on their social media in the hope that those bigger influencers will return the favour, resulting in getting a piece of their audience.

Lydia pets herself on the back in this tweet for not doing that, because she claims that those bigger influencers refuse to return the favour, so she would be disappointed all the time if she would mention them on her social media.

This is rather ironic because that is exactly what Lydia is doing all the time: sucking up to other influencers in the hope that they’ll mention her on their social media, so their following will become her following.

I just watched Jamie's video and yes it was awkward. I also seem to remember seeing a picture of Lydia and Jamie on Lydia's stories and the body language was just awful. Lydia has to accept that other vloggers just don't like her, she is a cold fish, she is an ex-stripper who thinks she is better than the rest and she lies and cheats.

I don't follow Jamie, but I think she did well for not showing Lydia. How many other influencers does Lydia usually feature in her vlogs? 0! So she shouldn't expect others to feature her either.
