There’s definitely something up with these two, it would explain Jim’s depression, my guess is Jim got caught cheating, It would also explain why Tanya is pathetically throwing herself at younger men and seems desperate for male attention. All this recent behaviour of hers could be revenge for Jim cheating, the blonde hair, the weight loss, getting shit faced possibility doing drugs, while pretending she’s never been happier. As usual she’s putting on a fake front and pretending everything is perfect.

I think that Jim is depressed because Tanya isn't interested in him anymore, and it's clear that Tanya is more interested in Rhys
