i can't believe they got a puppy- they can barely look after themselves or their kids, and Hannah has NFI what to do with it. I"m not a dog person so it just makes me even less interested in their channel.. from their insta stories , and bits of their videos it blows my mind that their house is an absolute pigsty at all times.
i have two small kids under 5, work full time, no help , and my house is tidier than theirs. THey are both home all freaking day with Grayson at school and the other one at daycare a few days a week, can't they tidy up that stupid house? they just moved in, it's a mess, and cramped with clutter. Also love the fact they styled their shelves and lights before building their wardrobe (WTF)? they're so superficial and weird. who does that?
i really hope that 'influencers' die out soon, they really are undeserving of their money and 'fame'.

Hate their new house. I mean different taste aside who wants to live in such a DARK house?

Even though the style isn´t my cup of tea I get when people like a dark wall or 1-2 pieces of dark furniture. But they have darkish walls and furniture everywhere. :o

For me too much of depressive vibes going on.

I used to rush to watch their videos now I’m a bit bored, they’ve bought the house, done it up, had their kids, got the dog, what’s left to film in a way just the day to day stuff, dull to watch. I don’t think I’d regain that much interest if they had another baby. Maybe if they started to travel more or did something new work-wise. Unlikely though with a child in school.

It’s just all a bit dull!

Oh and I have just remembered their London flat: cosy, friendly and happyish vibes come to my mind as well as everything being more authentic.
Hannah comes across so differently nowadays. She obvioulsly hates their "job" but she seems to enjoy the easy money too much to not take a new path workwise.
I guess she hopes that Steph is landing a well paid job so they can give up youtube. She seems really depressed.

Same.
I guess it shows when you want the money but don´t like to share as much as before.
With the Michalaks everything stays on a superficial level and comes across as too staged and way too many ADs. So boring.

Apart from Lucieandthebump she doesn’t mention friends I don’t think. No one has PMT that lasts 2 weeks. She married & had kids quite young & got sucked into YouTube. Maybe she needs more of an outlet for herself. Personally I hate to be stuck at home 24/7 with my husband & kids.

I would also hate to be a 24/7 stay at home mum with kids and husband only.

When it comes to Hannah her desire to be a full-time mum seems to correlate with her mental health.
I don´t think she is the happy active mum who meets other mums, goes on play dates, be active with the kids, enjoy cooking eg kind of mother.
Still she loves the idea of being a full time mum only but for different reasons...In my opinion she is lacking ideas what she would rather do or do beside being a mum. She seems to have absolutely no interests!

Everything she actively does for herself is sth. that is meant to be good for you (like the gym or hot yoga). I only remember her loving a nice walk with the family and after the walk having a coffee in a nice cafe. And having a glass of wine (ot two). That´s about it.

She has never been someone who is full of ideas, energy and interests. But (!) in their London time she seemed to be more active, happier and not as depressed as she seems to be nowadays.

You've articulated what I meant to say. Lots of SAHM are extremely fulfilled. Hannah doesn't seem fulfiled although she might find it easier if Stef wasn't there 24/7 & she wasn't under pressure to film every week. They have a very easy life in a lot of ways but it must be a pain having to get footage every week. A lot of the time she seems like she's acting the role of posh mum.

Maybe if she got n office job with a chance to socialise with other people she'd be happier who knows. I wonder what her life was like before she met Stef. I really like Stef & he seems mad about her. She seems a bit sad or something I can't put my finger on. Stef seems to have a lot more family & friends. He seems closer to his sister & he often says my mate X frim uni or wherever whereas Hannah doesn't mention friends. I wonder if she wants to offload who she'd turn to other than Stef.

I have PMDD (more severe PMS) and for some women I know it can last like 10 days! I'm lucky because mine is only ~5 days

I'm still trying to get my head around how they bought this happy, bright house and then sucked the living joy out of it with dark depressing colours; lights that remind me of a factory; loads of reclaimed wood everywhere ...... the wood in the bathroom looks like it could give off nasty splinters - not ideal when you've got small children. The boy's rooms are tiny and there's no room for them to grow into them. My fifteen year old is in a big double room , with a three screen gaming set up, a 'driving rig' and a selection of amps and electric guitars ....and there's still room for a double bed and wardrobes and desk for him to study.

They've gone for an 'instagram house' , rather than a practical one. Hannah is always going on about 'ugly' items of furniture. She made me laugh when she said she needed a small step stool for the kitchen but, the ones she'd seen were 'ugly' ....who gives a toss what a step stool looks like ? She's so superficial and shallow - perhaps this is why she doesn't have many friends ???? Not to mention the ever changing 'plummy' accent and trying to sound like she was born bang in the centre of Chelsea.

I did watch this week's vlog and it is so memorable, I've forgotten what's actually in it !

Are you American? Because the sizes of the rooms are pretty standard for the UK.

They have the room they use as an office & the spare room as well, they could always move around.

I agree the the reclaimed wood I don’t get the obsession with sticking it to walls & ceilings. The worst thing I’ve seen is the green light in their room. It looks like it belongs in a brothel & with the pink walls it’s yuck.

I have no idea why I feel sorry for her as my life isn’t rock n roll. She went to a cafe today with the dog & I assume Stef. Her life seems so dull they spend so much time just hanging out & presumably filming it. It’s like too much of a good thing makes it dull or something.

I wish for her she’d do something that didn’t involve her being alone, or with Stef or the kids.

No, i'm in the UK in Yorkshire. Our home has four bedrooms, three of them are double rooms and a box room - and a loft. Grayson and Rufus' room are tiny ...not much bigger than a box room. It's the amount they paid versus what they could have bought for the same amount of cash that irks me. They weren't thinking about their living situation - they thought of instagram first....

To be fair, up north you get a lot more for your money. Down in the south (especially Bath!), you would pay millions for that size bedroom, four times over.

I'm disappointed, I used to love the Michalaks (years ago), they moved to Bath at the same time I did and now they're so boring, and clearly bored of being in Bath. There's so much more they could do, but they do none of it

Maybe not everyone wants a giant house with big rooms? I don’t see anything wrong with the size of their house. Why do kids need anything more than a bed in their rooms?

1. Room to play 2. Room for friends to sleep over 3. Room to study 4. Room for friends to come round and play

Are you for real? Because if you’re not a troll I sincerely hope you don’t plan to have kids... inmates have more than “ just a bed” in their cells!!!

That said, the Michalaks Reno must have been the most boring one I’ve followed on YT/IG. They never fell in love with the house in the first place and you can see the end result hasn’t left them happy or satisfied. I bet Stef has promised Hannah they’ll be out on the hunt for a Georgian townhouse in a few years...because we all know Wantfeed 15.0 will be a success...ahem

My kids have a double room each - and they're still not big enough ROTFL! I forgot to mention storage for clothes and books too ..... "Children only need a bed!" ...... I don't think she has children

Honestly this is a bit silly now . I’m a family of 6 and our house was smaller than there’s until I was 10 years old when we eventually got our own rooms but still my room wasn’t big and only fitted a single, they are infuriating but they’ll 100% survive in that house

Your house might have been small but, I bet your parents didn't choose it with Instagram in mind ! The Michalaks are the true definition of style over substance (style over practicality). They paid £150k OVER the actual value of the house (according to Zoopla) - they do not even have their own car parking space. I can only imagine what it will be like in 12 year's time when Grayson wants to learn to drive. They are also struggling for wardrobe room. For the same amount of money they spent on the mortgage AND renovations - they could've got a brand new 5 or 6 bedroom detached property. Case in point - there are a few brand new build 5 double bedroom homes, dotted around the city and on the outskirts starting from £799k. This developer's homes are in the region of £350k to £800k (I've totally fallen down the rabbit hole of these show homes online btw)
