How does he even have the balls to fake out their subscribers like that? They are going loose subscribers from this if it’s real and I suspect it might be but I don’t think it’s an accident and I don’t think he can even start to pretend he hasn’t done that in purpose! How many years have they been filming for? And they don’t know how to look after an SD card? Bull!!
All their subscribers have asked for for a long time is to see Katie and Annie reunited, it’s such a simple thing and it’s obvious they were together so why can’t he just give the fans what they ask for? It’s pathetic and no one is surprised and he need to be a bit more original than destroying sd cards!

Who knows what Billy and his sick sense of humor is up to...either baiting Annie's fandom into thinking the Kannie footage has been destroyed when it hasn't....or there is no Kannie footage and he'll throw up another 5 minute filler vlog. It does seem risky on his part to come up with the lame excuse about destroying the memory card unless he actually produces Katie in tonight's vlog as a BIG suprise for the fans. Then they will all be gushing over Billy and how much they looooove him. No Katie in the vlog and he better run for cover.

You know what’s sad though, there will still be a majority of their fans who will STILL stan them even though they were blatantly and obviously lied too. The fans are gonna be mad but they will forgive them. Just like they forgave them for Hannie and every other blatant slap in the face that Billy has done. He knows that he can continuously do crap like this and face backfire for a moment but they will still come back and still watch them and still support their channel. Cause they are kids and they don’t care THAT much that they will probably get let down again in some other way. So Billy will keep using and abusing the fans because he knows they won’t go anywhere. Perhaps it’s cause I was always a big personality that I despise girls like that at 10 years old. I just hate that their parents encourage it and think it’s cute. I just feel like these kids to their mothers are just their little play things. Dress them like mini adults and buy them a purse that costs more than rent as if 10 yr olds don’t spill stuff, lose stuff or have any idea how to treat a Jimmy Choo handbag. And even still why does she need that kind of person. And why is a 10 year old even into that brand?! I remember walking into a Louis Vuitton store with the 8 ye old I watch when she was 5 and she walked out and said those bags were ugly, and she was right. No child needs to a designer handbag to carry their iPhone and shopkins collection. It’s just insane that these parents are just so lazy and disconnected from the world...

That was her older sister Kaylee, though, in all fairness, she's a much better dancer than any of those girls (maybe except Kalani and Brynn).

And I agree with your first point. When I was a kid I got a hand me down Louis Vuitton t-shirt and I didn't even know it was a well-known brand until somebody pointed it out. I just thought it was so ugly how the logo was plastered all over the t-shirt again and again. A while ago, someone on here said that these kids wouldn't be caught dead wearing a t-shirt with a cartoon charachter on it, and, sadly, it is true.

Also, since we're talking about Coco, both she and Txunamy go to regular school. I'm sure Billy and Katie could've figured something out for Hayley.

Oh he's definitely willing to do anything to cash in. Annie's newest interview confirms she never wanted a singing career, but Billy (and I'm sure Katie) wanted her to. It showed up under my recommendations earlier, and the interview literally starts off with Annie saying: "my dad asked me if I wanted to sing, and I said 'no'...then he asked if I was sure, and I said 'no', so he said 'let's try it'". This also confirms that the whole "omg, the camera was recording while Annie was singing and we had no idea!" thing is BS and orchestrated by Billy.

I'm so confused. Are Katie and Annie "best friends" again? They haven't appeared together in a vlog for a year or so. What must have happened between the scenes? I really can't come up with a logical explanation: Did the girls get into a fight and somehow reconciled a year later? Did the parents get into a fight but decided to sort it out now to get both their channels more views? I guess we'll never know, but I lean towards the latter. The girls aren't as clingy as they were before: to me, Katie looked slightly uncomfortable at times, and that Annie wasn't all over her means she was a bit wary too. It's clear they haven't seen each other or talked to each other much since we last saw them together. Nevertheless, Annie seemed very happy to be with her and Via and was definitely happier than usual. She does seem more relaxed in general and looks and acts more like her age in MD. I think she'd be much happier having a relatively normal life there instead of trying to make it in a world where competition is so fierce and she has nothing to offer apart from YouTube views. And the views are now decreasing, so it won't be long until she's irrelevant; people only stay trendy for so long, even if they have amazing talent on top of it. And Annie doesn't have it.

I'd love to see that interview, but I couldn't find it. It's pretty revealing she said that, and makes that much clearer who orchestrated the whole thing. While looking for the interview you've mentioned I've come across another one ( where Annie says she didn't really like acting, she just thought it was kind of fun, and started liking it after she'd been doing it for a while and got used to it. So I guess the acting thing wasn't really Annie's decision either.

About Caleb, I think Annie genuinely feels that's her motivation to do it, or at least she did in the beginning. I suppose when Billy prompted her to sing she looked for reasons to convince herself to do it, and she found Caleb to be the best: both of them had probably played around with instruments together when they were younger and did music as an extracurricular activity, so in her memories music can be linked to Caleb, which means that for her singing was equal to honouring him. I think it's difficult for Annie to find something that makes her feel close to Caleb because they didn't like the same things, so she just clings to whatever reminds her of anything she did with him.

In the end, Annie is just a victim of her parents' inability to be parents, and without their guidance or any good role models she's just trying to make sense of it all the best way she can and, as any teenager who tries to do that by themselves, the results aren't the best. But who can blame her? The problem is, if nobody helps her now she'll become an insufferable adult, and then it will be her responsibility but she'll find it nearly impossible to change and become a decent person.

This makes me sad for Annie. Everyone has said she isn’t comfortable on stage and doesn’t really care about singing or practicing. Well, she doesn’t. Her dad is forcing her to. No wonder she gets sick days before performing. I thought she at least enjoyed the attention, but maybe she doesn’t. It’s not like they would ever film her saying “I really don’t want to sing anymore”

Jeez-- 99.9% of the comments are people gushing over "Kannie" being "back together". And of course, the BS about how they couldn't see each other because they were signed with different networks. I guess if you repeat something enough, it becomes fact?
But you can see from the comments, most of the fans don't like the LA vlogs as much. They try to be nice about it, and suck up while still saying that they prefer the MD vlogs to LA.

Awhile back in one of the Bratayley vlogs, Katie L mentioned talking to a friend named Jill as well. I don’t know what happened between the families,but didn’t Jill acknowledge Caleb’s birthday in July. I’m wondering if that is what caused the mothers to be reunited?

The Billy thing just comes off as creepy to me, he's pushing his own daughter to do things she clearly isn't comfortable doing, not even talking about the fact they had to overlay "Picture This" in the vlog because Annie couldn't sing it live and was very clearly straining her vocal cords. It's just mind baffling her own dad would care more about her sucess in the industry than her well being and comfort. And guess what? When Annie moves on and becomes a regular has-been teenager in a year or so, Hayley will be the perfect age to be pushed out into that world, works out perfectly for him.

Katie and Annie won’t ever have the friendship they had before the falling out.

Also they are now worlds apart , Katie is going to High School and having normal teenage experiences. Annie is the bread winner for her entire family and is moving full time to LA.

The D’s are loaded without needing to pimp out their children to the highest bidder. I can see Katie growing out of YouTube in the next few years as she matures as well. It’s clearly a lot more embarrassing for her now to be a YouTube teen as her peers judge her and mock her I’m sure. So how does a friendship with Annie work?!

I'm actually quite surprised that it's Billy that's been the one pushing Annie into music and acting. I always thought it was Katie's idea since she loves the LA life so much.

As for the LeBlanc-Donnelly friendship, I am STILL convinced that Liv had something to do with the fallout because it was exactly around that time that Katie D started refollowing Liv on her instagram and they met up and vlogged her. It was almost as if they were making some sort of point with the reunion. I won't be surprised if it pissed the LeBlancs, especially Billy, off that they were somehow being disloyal.

As the post above me said, their friendship will never be the same again. I almost see this as a farewell and sort of chapter-closing meet up just so that the fans can stop asking whatever happened to 'Kannie'. Both girls are headed on such different paths in life that it's almost funny. Maybe there'll have a couple more years of birthday posts and that's it. Katie will go off to college and Annie will be pushing out music videos that nobody gives a crap about anymore.

I really believe that the kids don’t like this new Annie is LA thing. They say “we like the Maryland vlogs better” then go buy all of Annie’s music the minute it gets released and show up to her performances when she goes somewhere. It’s contradictory. You want her to live in a small city where the entertainment business is non-existent yet you want her to still be your idol and a celebrity. Where is the interview where she outright says she didn’t want to be a singer? In that other interview she didn’t at all say she disliked acting. She said it in a way that made it sound more like she wasn’t comfortable doing it so it wasn’t very fun until it became comfortable then it was fun. I think the only thing that annoys me with her very clearly scripted responses was that she had no big passions for any of this, so she can’t talk about how she had a dream and chased it and made it possible. She made it seem like all she wanted was to be on set everyday even when she wasn’t needed yet in the Bratayley vlogs you can see her roll her eyes st the thought of being on set early or complaining about being there. If she was so interested in acting, she wouldn’t roll her eyes or complain. But that interview doesn’t confirm that she didn’t want to act. More like she was not comfortable doing it, which is to be expected when she never did anything in regards to acting ever until she was the star of her own show. I can’t imagine she would make a risky move and say “my daddy made me do this, I don’t wanna actually do it” because that would have severe backlash from fans who would feel like they are just being used in the LeBlanc’s game of finding riches.

While that answer very much says she won’t be doing anything on her own to regain her music career after the kids outgrow her, it doesn’t really say “I hate this” or “I never wanted it” it was a hey why don’t you try it (because i said so) *then* all of a sudden she was like oh I love doing this.

While I agree it seems contradictory that she has been saying it was Caleb who inspired her to be a singer and then this comes out and she said she never wanted it. But she never really gave singing a try. Taking voice lessons is the boring dirty part of singing. Practicing scales and working on technique. But getting onstage and performing and feeling like that’s where you belong are two different things. Annie never really did that to any extent. At least for Kenzie, she was groomed to entertain. Even when she competed dance, she went onstage to entertain the judges and the crowd. Gymnastics doesn’t teach you to entertain. Meets are for evaluation of you among your peers. It’s not to put on a show for the spectators. So Annie didn’t have any experience as a stage performer until her dad says let’s go for the big leagues. I’m with all of you 100%, she doesn’t like it enough to persue it on her own when the wave of fans dies down. Maybe she “liked it” simply cause all she got was praise from it and no one really saying hmm this sounds not good. So idk. It’s not enough of an in your face statement that kids are gonna watch that and think wow she doesn’t even wanna be singer why am I supporting her? Ya know?

I genuinely believe Annie does not enjoy singing or acting. I think she likes making friends in LA, I think she likes filming music videos, likes her show coming out every week, but I believe she enjoys the fame and friends and life that comes with it rather than actually doing it. Whenever she is on set, she looks miserable and tired, her eyes are always so dead and she seems easily irritable, she wouldn't be like that if she loved it as much as her interview script says she does. I understand it's work and it's tiring, but she looks done before she even starts filming.

Both the girls are slowly getting brainwashed with the LA lifestyle, they are so sheltered, they never actually go out with their friends without Katie following them with a camera, they never go out to movies on their own initiative or go to non work or birthday related events. Neither of them get to be kids in LA, which is why they like being in MD. They spend so much time doing whatever their parents want them to in LA, they are starting to believe that is the only lifestyle you can have over there, by the time they'll start interacting with the world outside their parent's eagle eye, it will be too late for them to know better.
