As dull as Anna is, I enjoyed her March favourites waaaaaaay more than Lily's.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm just about done with seeing Lily applying her makeup. Her permanent frowning and misery puts me off like no other.

What ever happened to Lily's SUPER UNIQUE AND SPECIAL way of doing monthly favourites in the middle of the month? Because she's SO CREATIVE AND INNOVATIVE?

I wish her all the best, but WOW, considering we only see short snippets of her life, you wonder why she highlights these moments where she's so grouchy and grimacey. She must be a waking nightmare in real life. Poor thing, she's clearly been handed a rough go... a supportive, wealthy family, an interesting job that she is in charge of, a loving husband, a huge new home and the income to be able to renovate it immediately... such a struggle for ol' Lily Pebs.

She did some sort of poll a while back asking if viewers still liked Monthy Favourites: many said they found them boring and she still does them (of course she would).

Of course, because those items are from PR and or sponsored. So of course she’ll continue to do monthly favorites and it’s why all of the bloggers have basically the same favorites.

So Lily showed the mini Heat palette which she loves! Its much better than the large Heat palette as she doesnt really like the colours in that, BUT she doesnt use to first 2 colours in the palette OR the last colour in the palette and only really uses the middle 2 but its fab, we should all go out and buy it!!

I live for watching and reading about people's home renovations. I enjoy them so much. Lily's though, awful. She's just following trends. She has no sense of style when it comes to anything in her life.

That was hilarious to me that she posted about it being 'dreamy' as if it was some mad revelation to not have cushions on your bed. What a novel idea, it's not as if the majority of people on the planet only have the things they need to sleep with on their bed rather than having ten unnecessary cushions. Lily is really on the cutting edge of home design!!!!

it's probably just hyperbole but here she is again, mentioning having children. again, inviting her own unwanted questions. again, sounding like she can have children at the click of her mouse while browsing asos.com for the 2038th time.

and yes i agree-- only she can make it sound like a revolutionary thing not to have cushions on beds. you don't need a book to tell you that! the same as how we don't need a book to tell us about female friendships

Yeah, seriously. She's just following the trends of bold, dark colours from deVOL and others where trim and the plaster walls are painted the same colour. Unless/until she looks for furniture somewhere other than West Elm I'll stick with my opinion that she's an interior design lemming.
