I have the podcast playing in the background, he's saying that once a month he and Zoe rent a hall in The Grand Hotel and invite people and make cupcakes together etc. Is it really once a month? Or could it be something they don't put out to the public?

Also, had to laugh at him saying one of the reasons he wishes he only had 300,000 subscribers is because now with 4m subscribers, if he's at a nightclub girls will come up to him and demand pictures and disturb his time, and guys in the club will think "who the hell is this guy?", but if he gets security with him, guys are going to think "who the hell does he think he is?". Wtf is that logic.

I have only ever seen children camp in their garden in tents in north american movies, and it did puzzle me why did Alfie need to do that unless living his childhood dreams. Also, he really doesn't know how to iron his clothes does he?

Btw, never heard of yeezes until this week and so far they look pretty ugly to me.

TBH the only reason Alfie has a child will probably be to do all the childish stuff with them without being judged (assuming that he decided to start a family when he reaches the conventionally mature age).

So apparently only either him or Zoe own the house (he didn't say who), and it's not in both of their names. He admitted to being too young to be married, and everything they talk about in the podcast (house, kids, Nala, vlogs) comes back to what would happen if they broke up and how they would handle it.

I didn't watch the whole thing, I skipped to somewhere where he said "Zoe kindly let us film in the house" or something similar.Maybe it is in her name then? Or they could be just making a common "the house is the woman's job" thing.

Props to Alfie for doing the podcast with True Geordie - however, the crux of it is that Alfie enjoys being lazy with his content and doesn't really want to challenge himself to do more with it. He kind of reaffirms a lot of the things people think about him while trying to make himself sound smart about it. He doesn't quite seem to realize the opportunity / privilege he has and he doesn't really get grilled on his hyper-materialistic approach to using YouTube to sell instead of actually tell stories or create videos with meaning. Generally speaking, it was nice to see a regular Alfie in the podcast (and he honestly seems like a nice enough guy) but I was still left DESPISING the kind of lazy content he creates.

Yeah it's really disappointing. The interviewer pretty much kisses his ass the whole time. He occasionally questions some of the things Frog does but ends up agreeing with him every time. He never called Frog out on any of the major criticisms he normally gets and never called him out on his bullshit responses. For example, Frog was asked what it's like to live in a bubble and he pretty much said "I don't think I do" and the interviewer was like "oh yeah yeah yeah I agree."

Huge missed opportunity. I bet management had something to do with it.

I listened to the whole True Geordie podcast, and I don't agree with people saying they wished he ripped into Alfie more, like it would be a horrible podcast to listen to if he was just constantly slating Alfie in front of his face.

And the True Geordie isn't necessarily like a horrible person, and he already explained why he's now being like this with Alfie. Like it's not that he hates Alfie himself, he just hates Alfie's content and thinks that his content is lacking and could be so much more, but what would be the point of having Alfie on if he was just going to insult him the whole time? He's not a bully.

But also soooo hilarious that the True Geordie thought that Mark lived in the house because he was over so often
