So true. We drank water all the time when we were kids. Milk too. Some orange juice. Very few soft drinks.
Not because we couldn't afford them but because Mama told Daddy that we would get too many cavities and
he agreed with that. He said he had water growing up when he was thirsty and he was still around with all his
teeth, so was Mama. If the dentist said not many soft drinks per week - we weren't getting them.

Simple. Effective. My brothers and I all have our teeth.

Okay, I'm generally curious to see what kind of legal troubles miss Courtney has been in. Remember she said a week or two ago that she "got out of" jury duty because she's "got kids?" Yeah, well I got a summons for jury duty in the mail today, so when I went on the website I looked up the reasons for you to be eligible for disqualification. Nothing about having kids, unless that kid is permanently disabled. The only other thing on that list that would be for her is "if you've been convicted of a felony in the last 7 years you are disqualified from jury duty service."

It literally says:
I’m a stay-at-home parent. Am I disqualified from jury service?
No. You may postpone your service or request a transfer to another court location if in order to minimize the inconvenience, but you must perform your jury service. If a trial is expected to last more than a day, you will have an opportunity to speak to the judge to explain your situation prior to being impaneled. Only a judge has the authority to excuse you from service.

I don't know why she even brought that up. As soon as she said it I was like "huh?" Because I've always been well aware that jury duty is pretty impossible to get out of, and if you don't show up you get a hefty fine. Just saying "sorry I'm a stay at home mom, I take care of my kids" is not enough to get you out of jury duty. I'm sure she was excited to not have to go, yeah, but then she had to make up an excuse as to why she got out of it

Yeah, when she said that I was suprised, that just being a mother could get you out of jury duty.
I couldn't get out of jury duty most of the time and I had days of patients on the schedule. We had
to be available everyday for a week. How can just being a mom get you out of it? It seemed so easy.

Now she's on SC today bitching about how much she hates her house because it's never a good temperature. And how she's appalled that she needs Brielle's birth certificate and utility bills to get her into preschool. Bitch, the utility bills are because they want to make sure you're actually living where you say you are and not trying to just get into their school district. That is not out of the ordinary - EVERYONE HAS TO DO THIS. Also, why does she have to "drive an hour away" to pick up the birth certificate? All of those places have online websites where you can contact them and pay online to have them mail it. You can really tell she's never done anything to do with her kids before because damn, she doesn't know how to do anything
