I have a degree in behavioral sciences. The way Tati talks and pronounces words is a dead give away she is "in character". I think she does have great reviews, but some of her vids are sponsored obviously -- and I can't tell they are until I check the description unlike with other youtubers. She's a great actor.

Because I'm from a country in Europe, and here it's completely normal not to get married even years after getting engaged. My grandparents were engaged for 7 years before they got married and they were a loving and affectionate couple until my grandpa passed away. I know so many people who are engaged for 5+ years here and it's completely normal. Even 10 years. No one finds that weird.

Im not exactly sure, its becoming more common to wait over a year nowadays but 7 years of engagement sounds TOO LONG!! In America, especially southern culture or traditional Northeastern culture, we get engaged for 6 months - 1 yr then get married!

In America ppl wait 6 months to a year. I got married after 5 months I didn't want to wait a year I just wanted to be married. Obviously for love and commitment but there are benefits to being married also. So I wouldn't imagine waiting that long unless you were unsure. It also depends on how you were brought up religiously. My family are conservative christians and wanted see me finally married after 4 years of dating lol.

I agree. 6 months to a year is the norm in the US. It's not uncommon for someone to be engaged a few years if they are in college and they are waiting to finish school, but other than that, most get married soon afterwards. I can't think of ANY other adults, over 30 (or over 40 in James case) that waits YEARS to get married, unless it is a matter of custody issues and moving to other states with kids from previous marriages. (I have a friend in Colorado, engaged to a man in Florida. Her ex is stopping her from leaving the state with their son, so the wedding is postponed while they work something out).
