I haven't watched any of Tanya's videos for quite a while. Her appearing on Glamour and their pushy promo articles about her on Twitter after her cover issue was too much for me to take. I used to like her but it became blatantly obvious that she was copying other YouTubers videos and having a startling amount of product placement in her videos and vlogs without specifying it. From just reading this latest thread it is clear that nothing has changed and she only vlogs and posts videos just for the sake of it, the views, subscribers and obviously the money. It's a shame really tbh, she used to be a laid back person who enjoyed putting on make-up and making videos. Unfortunately the gravy train has gone on too long (and it's too good) for her to turn back now. On the other hand the posts on this thread do make me laugh with the accuracy.

Lmaooo I absolutely love the fact that her subscriber count is growing SO SLOWLY. Joe hit 6 million subs, and she's still at just over 3...and she started youtube in 2009, while he joined in 2012. LOL. She still hasn't figured out her niche on youtube, and has reached the cap on stealing Zoe's subs. She isn't funny, has no talent as a makeup artist, isn't pretty/cute enough to coast off of that, and big sister is taken by Zoe. Just a little hint Tanya - high fashion socialista probably isn't the direction you want to take.

Edit - yes it may seem random that I'm comparing her to Joe, but some people say he got famous because of his sister..but the gap in subscribers between Joe and Tanya shows that only takes you so far.

I think she wants to be seen as a rich high fashion blogger nowdays only she doesnt have the audience for it. Or the body and face. I think Jim is the one thats flourishing with all the jobs he takes...He's more marketable

Came here for this. It's not the first time she has used the same music Anna uses in her videos. It doesn't even work with her content and overall vibe or w/e, so dumb.

I'm gonna go on a bit of a tangent here.

I honestly used to follow Tanya on instagram and twitter, UNTIL all the glamour crap. I got very very tired of seeing her continuously plug herself and talk about how excited she was for the cover.. etc etc etc.

I also started getting pissed that everything she was doing was in an effort to make herself look sexy, and it was over the top posing and everything, and her ego has grown massively in a short amount of time, and I don't think there's anything really to be getting a big head about.

I used to be able to deal with the occasional annoying thing she would do, but I just feel like she is so self absorbed now. Also, with every new trip she goes on, it's more of "look at me, look what I'm doing" than " I just wanted to share this with you all". I'm going to use Niomi- because she is the one female British youtuber that I have a lot of respect for; she has been getting to go on nice holidays for ages already before she started youtube, and when she goes on another and vlogs it, she appears down to earth, humble, and appreciative for the little things ( like nice people at the resorts..etc) and it's not only about what money can buy.

I lost all respect for Tanya when she started name-dropping in all her vlogs and talking about who she was going to meet with next, about the book, the acting.. etc. All that is is annoying, and no, it's not because we're jealous, it's because it comes across as complete arrogance.

Lastly, she has lost her relevance and no one is able to relate to her the way they used to be for many reasons. One thing in particular I've noticed is, she doesn't wear or buy a single thing that any normal, hard working, well-earning person could afford. D&G dresses, $400 Tom Ford sunglasses.... part of what people love with the style vloggers is that they can get the style themselves, but she talks about the products she buys as if everyone can afford them. Again, arrogance..

Then the stupidity/ acting completely spoilt when they all get together and play some sort of game and she whines if she doesn't get 50 chances to win.

I'm very over her.

I think shes getting ahead of herself. Shes on top now that she has a 14 year old army of fans why buy her stuff. Wait till they grow up and shes a 30 year old. Hope shes saved up

It appears that Niomi comes from money and isn't using YouTube to become a socialite... which we all know is Tarn's goal. Good luck getting people your own age to care Tarn!
