Toms, Vans or Sperries?

Post by Gurutesque »

Hi! So since alot of you are very good with fashion and such, I have a HUGE question.

I've been debating if I should get Sperries, Toms, or Cheetah Print Vans.

These are the Sperries:

These are the Vans:

http://www.journeys.com/product.aspx?id=188348&c=999

And these are the Toms:

http://www.journeys.com/brand_listing.aspx?c=1607 (Any color is fine)

-----------

I would like to add that I always wear skinny jeans. Nothing else, LOL. And I'm debating which to get..

Thank You!! :love2:

I'd get the sperries or the toms. The vans look a bit tacky and I can't imagine them going with a lot.

I'm not keen on the print of the Vans, although I love leopard, usually, but I find Vans to be much more comfortable than the other two.

I'd get the Vans or the Sperries, just because I really dislike Toms. I think, they make feet look weird, because of their cut.
If I had to choose between the other two, I'd say Sperries, because ... well, they look nice :D

I like the Vans and they seem more like fall shoes than the other two. The Sperries seem more like spring/summer to me. I do not like the other ones.

I'm not too keen on any of the prints but vans are the most durable and comfortable.

I go by comfort for shoes but it depends on you. If you don't spend a lot of time on your feet, it doesn't matter. I do so I always have comfy shoes on mostly because my feet are always tired and worn out. What is comfy to me may not be comfy to other people, though.
I love Tom's. I think they're really comfortable. Especially for walking around a lot. Vans are not and murder my knees. I've never had Sperries but those are really fugly.
I vote Tom's. I think they're the cutest.

In my opinion, toms and sperries are disgustingly ugly, but that's just me. I would go with the vans though.

I like the Vans! My brother owns four pairs of Vans and they're all he wears, I've never tried them in my size, but he wears his until they fall apart (he puts them through a LOT and they still last ages) so I can vouch for them :)

Toms are cute, but they aren't shoes you can wear too often.
I had a grey pair I loved I had bought in late June.
By early September, they had holes in them, and I couldn't wear them!
If you aren't looking for a long-lasting shoe, go for it.
They're pretty expensive though, and I understand it goes to a good cause,
but it's hard to justify when they're so easily worn out.
They have an oddly square toe, too, so unless you absolutely love the way it looks on you,
it's going to piss you off.

Vans in my opinion are comfy, but cheetah print might be hard to coordinate with an outfit.
I love Vans though. They remind me of Converse.
I didn't buy a pair of Nikes or running shoes,
and I actually did Broad Street (a ten mile race) in my Converse.
And my legs felt great.
I wear Vans regularly.

As for Sperries, I'm not a fan,
but I've never worn them. It's your choice.

The cheetah vans I would wear them with a white or black button up or something, as for the sperrys, I think they look pretty decent on some people. The toms look cute, but once you put them on they look horrid o-o

The thing that sucks is you have to buy Toms too small,
so when they stretch they still fit you.

I just got back from the mall, and I got the zebra print sperrys :)
But I tried on the toms.. and looks like if I buy them I'll have to get a smaller size and stretch them out.

I personally have two pairs of toms and love them. A bright pink pair and grey.

They go up like a half size, so when you first Toms, they're kind of snug.
Honestly, I need to get new shoes,
since the majority of my shoes involve canvas/something else that is terrible in the rain.

I'm not a big fan of the leopard print Vans, and the Toms are okay. I vote for Sperries :) I have 3 pairs, and they're very comfy & hold up well .
