The ones who are bad like to have fun I guess, they know what kind of effect they have on people.Hasuko wrote:RabbieWingz wrote:I like this thread, let's bring it back to life!
OMG !!
But tbh i don't see that's a good idea to take o a ride a stranger with a veil hiing her face in the middle on the road... xD
I believe in supernatural and witches but i don't understand why they'd have bad intentions (of course i guess there is bad and good witches, like there is good and bad people) ? I mean, what the point of asking to his guy for a ride and then make fun of him (and let him have an accident) as soon as he realized she had backwards feet... I guessed the "real" witches would be discreet and not wanting to be unmasked...
Please, do not hesite to post more ! I LOVE supernatural stories ! To bad this thread is a bit dead now~ but as i haven't any supernatural stories (maybe one, but it's not that terrifying nor interesting) so i LOVE reading others' stories !!!

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
I have a few, actually. I may post a few, but this is one currently going on, (this one is not mine) and she's still in the process of resolving the issue. It's lengthy, but I did not want to go to bed after reading this:
Warning: Huge wall of text is coming
My husband and I, my two step daughters, and our 15 month old son live in a house my husband inherited from his mother who passed away some years ago. We've got nearly forty acres of mostly wooded area. Our house sits about a half mile off the road, so it's pretty secluded. We've always had weird things happen. Typical "ghost stuff", unexplained voices, banging, and we always liked to entertain the idea that maybe the kids' late grandmother was stopping by to say hello. After all, none of the kids ever seemed afraid. They've always been comfortable in this house.
When our son was born, we decided to make the bedroom downstairs next to his sisters' room into his nursery. At about nine months old, he was finally sleeping through the night in his room, in his crib. I have one of those visual monitors that allows me to see and hear him. It also alerts me to any movement or sound in the room. Up until a few months ago, I'd never heard anything, seen anything, or had any reason to worry about him being in his room. Like I mentioned before, we've had some experiences in this home, but never anything menacing, never anything threatening or outright scary. Just a few little things here and there.
One night about two months ago, I was taking a bath upstairs after putting the baby to bed. My husband was gone, and my stepdaughters were at their mother's house for the weekend. Our walls are pretty thin, so I had the upstairs and downstairs tv's turned off, quietly listening to an audio book while I bathed. I assumed my husband was home because I heard, clear as a bell, my husband yell my name from downstairs. Well, I heard him yell "Honey!" almost sounding angry, irritated. I paused the book and sat up in the tub, expecting to hear him again and slightly pissed that he was yelling and our son was asleep. I didn't hear anything else and I sure wasn't going to yell back even louder. I grabbed my phone next to the tub and texted him, bitching a little about his volume level, but also asking him what he needed. He responded and told me he wasn't home. Obviously, I was pretty freaked out. My first thought was maybe some dopehead had broken into our house, but I quickly dismissed that. I had our alarm set, so I knew none of the doors or windows had been opened. And why would an intruder be yelling "honey!"... Nevertheless, my husband told me where our gun was, and I kept it near me while I poked my head downstairs and of course, saw nothing.
Later that night (after falling asleep with every light on) I was awoken by the baby monitor going off, my son not just crying, SCREAMING. It was around 3am, and I noticed my husband had come home and was sleeping soundly next to me. I must've been sleeping pretty hard, because I didn't even remember him coming in. My dogs hadn't barked or anything, and after our earlier incident, they had been on edge all night. My son was screaming terribly, like he had been hurt. Being a mom, you learn the differences in cries, what they mean. So I rushed into his room which was only lit by the light in our backyard, as I always left his curtains open just enough to let that light in. He was standing up in his crib jumping up & down frantically, reaching for me. I grabbed him and started swaying with him, humming gently to calm him down. After about ten minutes, I tried laying him back down and he seemed to panic at the mere thought of me moving in the direction of his crib, so I (at this point pretty disturbed with how this whole night was going) sat down with him in the glider and tried to rock him some. This whole time he's still whimpering, lightly crying. As I'm rocking him, my eyes floated up to his closet door because I noticed it was slightly ajar. I knew I had closed it before putting him to bed. I always make sure his closet is shut. Fir as long as I can remember I've been unnerved by closets for some reason. Too many scary movies, I suppose.
The closet was open about a foot, I'd say. The light from the window was giving it some attention though, and I could see a good bit in there. You know that expression people use in stories, "blood turned to ice"?? Well, as cliche as it sounds, that's exactly what happened. Right there, about knee heighth in the opening to his closet, I saw a woman's face. Well, I'm guessing it was supposed to be a woman. "She" had bright, fire engine red hair that absolutely didn't look real. It seemed to be almost glowing, in a short curly hairdo. The irises of her eyes were unnaturally green, where there should've been white around the green it was black as night. Her skin was painfully pale, and she (it) was smiling the most maniacal grin I'd ever seen in my life, and one that I won't ever forget. I couldn't see a body, just the face\head and a faint outline of shoulders.
The sight of this thing was horrifying. That she looked to have been torn straight out of an old black & white film, and had too much colour to her features only made my blood run colder. I couldn't figure out what she was doing, but she was shuddering. Sort of the way you shudder and shake when you're out of breath. I was literally frozen, wondering a million things at once. Is this what my son was reacting to? No wonder he was shaking when I'd picked him up. This thing just sat there, as I inched my way backwards out of his room and hauled ass up the stairs. At that point, I had to question my sanity. This was some shit right out of a GhostHouse horror flick. Was I just imagining it? No, my little boy had CLEARLY been afraid as well. My husband is not exactly a believer, to put it lightly, and I was so afraid of sounding like a total nut job, so I went to our loft and laid down with my son. He slept on my chest, while I laid there, questioning reality. I also found it very strange that my husband hadn't woken up through all of this. He should've heard our son screaming, it was blood curdling... why is he not awake?
Our son slept with us for weeks afterwards. Don't ask me how I managed to talk my husband into letting that happen. He was avidly against co-sleeping. "Its dangerous" he said. I only went into my son's room to get his clothes, and that was it. Last Saturday night, my son was literally banging on his bedroom door trying to get in there. He wanted to play with his toys and I'd been so damn afraid up until that point that there was no way I was letting him in there. But that night, I guess I was feeling ballsy. I checked it out first. Nothing was amiss, and he seemed not the slightest bit scared. He was excited, in fact. The room wasn't thick, like it had been the night I saw that... thing. It was a different feeling. I honestly felt guilty for banning his room from existence for so long, and hoped that we could move on and pretend nothing had ever happened. We played in there for about an hour before it was bedtime for him. I had thoroughly checked the closet out, and even my son had grabbed some toys from in there. Feeling just the faintest bit of unease, I agreed when my husband said that we were going to let him sleep in his room that night.
To my amazement, I tucked him in as I'd always done before, and he laid right down without a hitch and curled up to go to sleep. I made sure the closet door was closed, left the bedroom door open, and [reluctantly] made my way upstairs to bed. His sisters were in the next room, sleeping soundly as well. I watched the monitor for about fifteen minutes before my husband scolded me for being so paranoid and I left it on my bedside table. Things felt more normal, and I was hoping for a peaceful nigbt. My husband still didn't know what I had seen. No sense in starting up a conversation about it now. I know he could tell I was anxious.
Low and behold, a few minutes after 3am, the monitor goes off and my son is screaming that same horrifying scream. To hear your child in an utter state of fear is more than heartbreaking. I could tell that the monitor's camera had been slightly moved, I could only see the part of his crib closest to the wall. He must be up against the rails, I thought... I fucking freaked, ran downstairs and barreled down the hall to his room. I pushed the door open, and this time I had turned on the light in the hall, so it was lighting about half of his room. I went to pick up my screaming son, when I absolutely froze about a foot away from the crib. There, in the corner next to his crib (about four feet away from my baby) was a plump woman, wearing a blue housewife type of dress, with fire red hair, hunched down facing the corner.
I knew it was the same thing I had seen before, but this time it had moved out of the closet and closer to my son. Just like before, she was shuddering, shaking in the corner. I could hear a faint laugh that seemed to come from every corner of the room all at once. I could immediately see that grin in my mind, teeth far too big for her mouth, almost glowing with white. I didn't freeze for long. I grabbed my son and fuckin booked it out of that room. I didn't stop until I was at my husband's bedside, crying and panicking. He was already awake. I had left the monitor when I flew downstairs, and he checked the screen thinking our son might've been hurt judging by the way I ran downstairs, he said. According to him, our son was sleeping soundly when he looked at the monitor, but even he could hear the same faint chuckle that I was hearing coming from that...thing. But, I knew that I had been awoken by my son screaming. I mean, he was standing up screaming, reaching for me when I got to his room, which had to have been the exact same time that my husband looked at the monitor and saw our son, sleeping? No way in hell. He claimed to have seen me scoop up our sleeping baby just as he was getting ready to run downstairs after me. Could this have explained why he didn't wake the first time this happened? Why was the baby monitor not showing what was REALLY happening?
I told him everything. From the beginning. He had grown up in this house for many years, and had never seen anything like what I saw. He seemed to shrug it off rather quickly, dismissing it partially because he swears that our son was asleep that night before I rushed in and "dragged him out of his crib". Needless to say, our boy is sleeping with us again, and I'm damn sure not going to give that thing a chance to get any closer to him. I have heard noises coming from his room every night for the last four days. Banging, scraping sounds against the hardwood floor. The creaking of the closet door ever-so-slowly opening in his room. My stepdaughters remain unaffected completely, but they can tell something's up because I will not go into their brother's room at night at all. I keep all of his clothes in our room, so I have no need to go in there... I'm terrified of that room. Day or night that room is dark...
I've never been a religious person, but I've begun to pray. This thing in my house, it feels...wrong. it feels ominous, and negative. You know that feeling you get right before you witness a car accident, or right aftet you wake up from an unusually bad dream? That's the feeling I have. Moving is not an option, we own our house free & clear. We're not going anywhere. I've never read about anyone else experiencing this thing, or anything close to it. If anyone thinks they've read about something like this, please let me know where I might be able to find it. This is not a Creepypasta story, this was not a dream. I'm afraid, and I keep feeling like something is just, off. I know what I saw, and it will stick with me for the rest of my life, etched into my mind like stone.
Thank you for reading.
Update: Some history on the house- It was deeded to my husband four years ago when my mother-in-law passed. My father-in-law was a pretty big home builder in the area a while back, and he built this house from the ground up in 1997. It's on 38 acres, with our nearest neighbor about 300 yards away. I found out recently that my husband and his family moved out for a year and a half in 2000, and they rented the home out to a mid-aged couple, some friends of theirs. I've never asked why that couple moved out, or why my husband's family left, only to come back almost two years later.
Update (11/11/13): Last night my husband's aunt FINALLY called me back. I'd been leaving her messages since shortly after all this started. My husband says that the couple they rented the house out to were friends of hers. She's given me the phone number to the couple and she said I should call them, to see if I can find out anything at all. I mean, they're the only other people who have ever lived in this house. I didn't tell the aunt what was going on, I just said we found some things in the basement that might belong to them.
Last night my husband and I both heard three loud, consecutive sounds come from downstairs as we were going to sleep. Like glass breaking. He went down to check, gun drawn (like that's going to do any good, I thought) as I'm completely petrified at this point. I am 110% convinced that something is trying to fuck with us, trying to scare us. All three of the bulbs in the light fixture in our son's room were broken, glass all over the floor. Several of his bigger toys were broken. And I don't mean trashed, I mean broken right in two. No one has been in there all weekend, so we damn sure didn't do it.
I'm scared, and as much as it scares me to think about this happening all over my house, I wish this wasn't concentrated solely on my baby's room. He's sleeping with us for the foreseeable future. I'm calling this couple just as soon as it's a decent time of the morning. We'll see...
I apologize in advance for any errors/typos.
Thus far, the only real tangible damage has been some broken stuff, and a couple of small fires. I call them small because we were able to put the fire out each time, with no huge damage. This morning some weird shit happened while I showered upstairs (we hardly use the downstairs, the largest, portion of our home anymore). The entire bathroom floor was soaked when I got out of the shower. This is huge bathroom, and even if I had left the shower curtain the entire time, it wouldn't have soaked the entire bathroom. I didn't hear anything, see anything, or feel anything. Actually I was a little bit relaxed at that time. Just goes to show me that even when I think everything is okay for a minute, it's really not. I feel as though even regular things that could have a very rationale explanation seem scary to me right now.
Also, I realize that this all sounds like a bad Chiller flick script. I WISH. My life has literally been turned upside down. It breaks my heart in a way I can't explain to see such anxiety in a nearly two year old. My son's biggest concern should be which Legos he wants to play with. He clings to me 24/7, and cries if he even thinks I'm leaving him.
I should mention that the last time I saw this scary woman thing...was about a month ago. It seems like things are always calmer for a couple of days after I've seen her/it. It's only in my sons room, the nursery. The last time, I stood facing her for about 2 minutes (felt like 90) and she didn't do anything, just stared at me with that shuddering bullshit, like she was laughing. Smiling, like everything was cool. As always, I just backed out of his room, too afraid to take me eyes off of her/it. I can walk into his room (which isn't often, only when I absolutely have to) and be fine, then leave shaking like a leaf.
We don't have the means to move. We've stayed in a hotel room a couple of times, but that's not cheap. My house constantly looks like a damn tornado has ripped through it. I try to stay gone all day, but we have to sleep somewhere. If we had a vehicle big enough for us to sleep in, that's where we'd sleep. Wednesday night when we came in, the couch was upside down, and the two lamps we got from the thrift store to replace the already broken ones were in pieces.
E, the woman I mentioned who lived in this house for a couple of years before my husband's family bought the property, she's a weird weird person. She won't answer my calls anymore, and then she'll call me in the middle of the night and just breathe. She doesn't say shit, just breathes into the damn phone. I found. Bunch of old doll parts on my basement steps (outside, a small set of three concrete steps) and who the hell but this creepy woman would leave that? They sure weren't there before. I have no idea how she or her late husband are related to this, but something tells me she is.
Our property was a saw mill several years ago, before any homes were built, when our street was just a dirt road. I'm trying to find out as much as I can about the land before that. We found a dirt crawlspqce in our basement, which isn't overly weird, half of our basement is unfinished. All we could find in there was a lightbulb with a pull chain, some super old pots/pans, and silverware. We've changed every lock on every door around our home, just in case.
A couple of people have asked me about my husband. He's old fashioned. He respects me and cares about me dearly. He started out thinking I was bat shit crazy (to be honest, so did I) but even he has witnessed things. Since December I've had two psychological evaluations, one more extensive than the other, and neither showed any signs of delusional thinking, irrational thinking, etc. So what now? I've put garlic cloves in every corner, spread salt, all the typical anti ghost shit, and so far nothing has helped. It actually seems to inflame the situation, making the days following even worse an normal.
I'm not trying to entertain anyone and I want to fix this. I'm not religious, never have been, but this situation has me questioning everything I've ever believed/thought/KNOWN was real. I'm still going through all of your suggestions and thoughts. Among all of this, I still have to be a wife and a mother. I've realized that I can't fix this by myself, and that it WILL NOT go away on its own.

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
I've had a few experiences. None are particularly crazy, nor the recurring kind.
When I was in 8th grade, my friend came camping with my family. We went out for a walk late at night in the campground, with the aim to get down to the lake and walk on the beach. We were walking the direct route to the lake and could see the opening in the trees ahead of us, and the lake behind that, lit up by the moon. We could see something floating over the lake, it looked like a person in a long coat with a hat. We both saw the same thing and took off running. It didn't follow us, that I know of.
She actually left me in the pitch-black forest campground with no flashlight. We are not friends anymore.
Before we got my current cat, Jack(7 years ago this August), we have had 3 other cats, 2 died from getting hit by cars and the first one died of old age. I used to see cats walking around the house out of the corner of my eye when we had no cat. My previous cat, Bandit, passed probably 5 years before we got my current cat, so it wasn't just right after. It's either stopped since then or I just don't notice as much because I actually have a cat now.
Lastly, a few years ago, my boyfriend and I were laying in his room in the dark, and clear as day we heard something hit the door as if it'd been thrown. I turned on the light and his xbox game was laying in front of the closed door. He kept them, at the time, across the room, so it had to have flown or been thrown to get there.

Luna, thanks so muc for the post !
This story is AMAZING, probably the most frightenning ghost story i've ever read ; the description of this "thing" she met in the closet (and then several times later) in her son's room is blood curdling...
Could you please give the link of this story ?

so that's freaky! I would just stay away from that room obviously though if it's all just happening in there.
I have a few stories to post myself.
odd things started to happen in my family when my mum was pregnant with me.
She started seeing people standing at the end of her bed whilst she was pregnant. Then I was born and when I was from ages 1-5 we lived in one house where the microwave switch would always turn off at the power point and we had an old cupboard with a key in it. The key would lock and unlock at night time when everyone was in bed.
Then we moved to a new house. My bedroom door always would open and close by itself. No windows drafting it, it would just happen. my room was next to the bathroom, I saw a lady showering in there once when I was 9 and freaked out massively.
MY mum would see things too, but as soon as I moved out of home. She stopped seeing things. (coming back to this point soon..)
I have three grandparents passed away currently. When my nan on my dad's side passed, I was on her toilet with the door open after her wake and saw who I thought was my mum walk past into the spare bedroom. I called out with no answer. There was no one in the room and it was cold. Everyone else was outside the whole time.
Second grandparent to pass away was my grandfather on my mums side. I never saw him: however my brother not long after was doing a lot of long nights in musicals and was constantly driving long hours there and home as well as work. He had fallen asleep at the wheel and almost died. Not long after, he almost fell asleep again but looked in the rear view mirror and saw my grandpa smiling at him. This woke him up.
In relation to this same grandfather, I was at my nans house (his wife) and my grandmother is a CLEAN FREAK, like everything is in order and it's like a museum. She has a bookshelf with all her Videos (yep, videos: not dvds haha) placed. For NO reason at all, I went over and I pulled one of the movies out a bit, so it was not flush against the others. For no reason. The movie I picked for while you were sleeping.
we have often said I can communicate with beings without even realising it. A week had passed and my nan was telling my mum over the phone about her recent experience. She woke up and could feel her husband in the room, holding her hand but couldn't see him. She got up as normal and spottd the video while you were sleeping and burst into tears that he was with her. It took her a week to see the video, she normally would have spotted that in an instant when I did it.
My last grandfather on my dads side I was extremely close with. I was in the bathroom in my house that i moved out into first: when I saw him walk past the window as if he was doing the gardening.
My brother first whitnessed something in the house who was also living with me. He saw a lady walk past the loungeroom in the hall way wearing a big white hat.
My dog at the time was in the spare room (which was at the end of the hall way) and wouldn't leave the room one day. He was terrified.
At the time I was in a relationship and he was cheating on me (but I didn't know this). For the three months he was cheating on me, I had every night a shadowed man standing next to me while I was in bed. I was terrified of this man, although he never hurt me. The day after we broke up, he was gone. It was like he was warning me.
I got into a new relationship and this was the first time I experienced anything feeling evil. Everything to date had felt safe. Sometimes scary, but I never felt like I was going to be harmed. I was staying at my boyfriends parents house (this is my ex who is also the father of my daughter)...and they have stairs, I woke in the middle of the night and went to go downstairs for a drink. I got halfway down when I saw a man at the end of the stairs. He was skinny, and naked. I could only see him from waist down, but he was evil. I bolted upstairs and didn't want to sleep there again.
When my daughters dad broke up with me, I moved back in with my parents. As soon as I moved in, my mum started seeing and hearing things again. Two things happened that I found rather disturbing and intriguing.
1st) I started just knowing what movies were going to come on tv. Not that impressive but it happened. I would watch a lot of movies cause all my child did was sleep really in my arms, so we would watch a lot lol. I would randomly pick one from my parents collection. And then a week later, that movie would come on tv. No joke, this happened for about two months.
2nd) now this had never happened to me before, other than the doors opening and closing. But my phone fell off a table and an ottoman. And I don't mean just fell off, it was as iff some one had pushed it off with so much force it landed too far away. And we all saw this with out own eyes.
I then moved out into my own place nearby my parents. The first thing my brother said as a joke is that it looks like a house they would have on paranormal activity (and it did look similar lol)
The first night I was unpacking sheets upstairs and I rested some sheets on the stairs bench thing? Like that overlooks the railing. Anyhow, the same thing happened that happened to my phone. A Pillow case wwas pushed with so much force off and floated down the stairs.
I had an ensuit in my room: I would ALWAYS turn the light off, and I would keep the door open to air it out as it was tiny. One day, I walked upstairs and my bathroom light was on and the door closed over.
This was all early days mind you. MY mum got me a spiritual book to read. The night I sat down to read it, I got really cold all of a sudden and the feeling like something bad was going to happen if I read it.
I saw a medium and she said it seems to be a young father type figure and he is confused why you are there? She told me to get amethysts and place them in the corner of certain rooms and burn sage. So I did this, and it died down.
I was at a new boyfriends place (wow I seem to have had a lot of boyfriends haha, this one is an ex now thankfully and I have a lovely guy now who actually believes me being spiritual)...anyhow he has stairs too, and he was at the gym after work. I had my daughter upstairs asleep and we were home alone. I had checked on her, and I came downstairs and turned off the light for the stairs down the bottom (there is a two way switch: one at the top and one at the bottom.)
I was in the lounge room when I was walking to the kitchen and you can see the stairs as you do this, The light was off as it should have been. I turned to face the kitchen and I heard a light switch. I turned around and the stairs were on again.
I bolted up stairs and stayed with my daughter until he got home and I made him check the house to make sure it wasn't an intruder. Nothing.
I have since moved back in at my parents house: and nothing too out there has happened. The most has been I have heard knocking on the walls.
I normally hear a lot of things, and see things out of the corner of my eye, but I am so used to it by now. The above are things that have been more in your face experiences.

okay no one is probably going to believe me but whatever.
Okay, so My family is irish and scottish. we live in america but are very proud of our heritage. i always heard storys of the banshee growing up (if you’re unfamiliar with the banshee, she is a fairy messenger from the underworld. considered to be a death omen. you’ll see her before some one from your family dies. and when they do, you hear her wail.) Well, one night in october i was walking home from a friends house. I Live in the middle of nowhere in texas. and the walk down our dirtroad to the house takes about 20 minutes. My father had been sick But i had thought nothing of it. When right before i turned down the road to our house, I Saw the back of a women clothed in all black riding a horse. I Felt a deep sense of fear. Not thinking i had asked what she was doing on our drive-way at so late at night, and that’s when she turned around. The only thing i could see were bright Red eyes. Out of fear i started running, My aunt lived across the road from us. so since she was closest house i turned from the our drive way and started running. I Could hear horse hoofs behind me. until i got to my aunts drive way. i Finally got into my aunts house after what seemed like Hours of running. when i burst through the doors, i found my aunt holding my mother and she was crying hysterically. i asked what was wrong and then they told me my father had a heart attack and was in the hospital. I Told them what i had saw but they didn’t believe me. until a week later when my father passed away, things were looking up. he had gotten better and we were hopeful. but one night me, my mother & my aunt were watching tv we when heard a ear piercing screech. and then we got the call from the hospital telling my mother that my father had died.

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
It's not supernatural but any time I have sleep paralysis it feels supernatural. Why would our bodies make us see these scary hallucinations and have that scary feeling. Ugh ughhhh I hate it so much it leaves me shaking afterwards.

Anyway, yes, totally agree. I've only really experienced one instance of sleep paralysis that I remember clearly and damn was it terrifying. I was half-awake and couldn't move, and all I could see was this shadow man-shape at the end of my bed, and it felt like I was staring at it forever. Then it *growled* at me. I eventually came out of the paralysis but I was super freaked out for a long time afterwards. Thankfully I had just learned about it in a class of mine, so my steadfast disbelief in God/the afterlife was not shaken, haha. But I can see how that would be extremely unsettling for someone who was not aware of the phenomenon.

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
Wow, Luna's post is so entertaining, hope the lady updates more
My borther has a friend who meditates a lot and has a meditation class, he's also a medium.
He went to my house the other day and he was telling us how when he was driving in a free way one time it was really dark and raining and he was driving really fast when suddenly he saw a man's face reflected on the window and he heard a voice whispering "stop", so he did and when he started driving again at a slow speed he saw that a few meters away there was a huge truck across the street so obviously this spirit saved his life, if he hadn't stopped he would've died crashing with the truck.

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
I've had one experience with a ghost.
I was about 7 at the time. My family is Polish, so we went (and still do) to Poland for our summer holiday. There was a thunderstorm going on just as we were about to go to bed. My parents said that it was normal, and to go to sleep. I slept in a bed with my younger brother and my older brother was in a camp bed across the room. We all went to bed, and I pretty much fell asleep instantly.
I woke up (I'm guessing) at around 2am. The house was silent and the thunderstorm was still going on. It was completely black. I let my eyes adjust to the darkness and saw something in front of me. It was about three metres away, at the back of the room near the window. It was this white mist/fog thing, just floating in the air. It had no facial features. I gasped, closed my eyes, and opened them again. My eyes were filled with white. I couldn't see anything, literally everything was white. It was like the ghost had gone inside me or something. I was really scared, closed my eyes really tight, and didn't open them again until I woke up, when everything was back to normal.
As soon as I woke up, I went to the kitchen and saw my parents. I told them that I had seen a ghost, saying that it was white mist, but they just laughed and said it was just a reflection of the wrapper covering the ironing board, or I was just seeing things. I never talked about it again. As I grew older, I believed that it was the ghost of my dead grandfather watching over all of us kids when we were sleeping to make sure that we were safe during the thunderstorm.

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
Thank God for who created this thread because it gives me the opportunity to share my paranormal story with all of you.
When I was young, we lived in a building that had been owned by my grandfather for many years. From the moment we arrived to that apartment it gave all of us an uneasy feeling and Oh man where do I start?
I was 11 year old when we moved in and we lived there for about 4 years. Let me first tell you about everybody involved in this true story. My father, my mother, our two live-in maids, my dog and myself.
I'm going to give a few examples of the different things that all of us experienced in that place. One of those experiences was in the hallway that took us to the bedrooms. As we walked down that hallway, in the back of our necks we felt a cold breeze that made our hair stand up and gave us chills. My bed was facing the door to the hallway and every night I felt an eerie presence standing there and it made me stare at an empty hallway until I went to sleep. During those four years, many nights, I woke up in the middle of the night in panic yelling for my mother to come to my room. I was so scared that she had to stay with me until I felt back to sleep again.
Another strange thing we noticed, especially in the beginning, was that the maids that had lived in the building for many years even before we moved in, never wanted to be inside of the apartment by themselves. They were always together, it was as if they knew something was wrong, but they never mentioned it!
Our German Shepherd was trained at the highest level of attack dog. Whenever my parents went out, I was left with my dog and the maids. On one of those occasions, I was in my room playing and I noticed that it had been a while since my dog had come around. So I went to go look for him. I found him in the living room. He was standing in front of the chimney growling with the hairs on his back standing up staring at "nothing." I started calling him but he ignored me so I went to go get the maids to help me. When I brought the maids to the living room my dog was still in the same spot doing the same thing, that's when one of the maids pulled him by his collar. The maids must have known something was weird, so they took me and my dog out of the apartment until my parents got back.
On another occasion my dog was again in the living room but this time some unknown phenomenon had taken over him. While being in that same living room he was suddenly struck with his rear legs being paralyzed. When I saw him, I told my mother to come look at him because I was scared that something had happened to him. When my Mom saw him, she called my Dad to let him know what was going on and he told us to immediately take him to the Vet and had him checked out. When we arrived to the Vet, he told us that the dog had to stay there for a couple of days so that he could perform many test on him. We was given all tests including x-rays but nothing was found to be wrong with him and when we went to pick him up he was as if nothing ever happened to him.
My Dad used to come at night to finish his work and he liked to work in the dinning room because it gave him enough room to spread his paper work around. The dinning room was right next to the living room and many times he would leave his work unfinished because he had an uneasy feeling that would come over him.
On top of the chimney mantle in the living room, there was an antique marble clock that was in the family for a long time. The clock's internals had been broken for many years and after several attempts to fix it, the parts were never found so it never worked at all.
One night my parents were having a conversation in the living room when the started to hear twelve chimes and they looked at each other in disbelief. They turned to look at the clock and they realized that the clock hands somehow showed it was midnight so they totally freaked out and they ran out the living room.
One of many other strange occurrences was that the entry door peep hole would go dark as if someone was looking back at you when you were standing outside. Even the day we were moving out, my Mom was the last person left in that empty apartment and as she was locking the door, in the middle of the bright day, the peep hole went dark on her for the last time. It was as if the entity was making sure she was leaving!
After leaving that ungodly apartment and on our way to our new home, my Dad confessed that in his childhood, when my grandpa first bought the building, an actress lived in the same apartment we were living in. She ended her life in the same apartment we had reside for 4 years. We feel that she did not leave at peace and that has kept that place haunted.
These are only a few of the examples we encounter. I haven't felt anything similar again.
And that, is how you make EASY money on YT, by exploiting your possible challenged child.
Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
I have never experienced something supernatural myself, but I have heard a story from my mother. I don't know if it is supernatural or maternal instinct, but it's creepy nontheless.
After having my sister, my parents wanted another kid. So after a while my mum got pregnant again, but from the moment she found out she said it did not feel good. She told my father that this was not a 'good' child and that it was all wrong. My father, of course, dismissed it, thinking it was the hormones talking. My mum kept being grumpy and saying that the child in her wasn't real and that it couldn't live. After a few weeks she had a miscarriage. Her immediate reaction was: "See, I was right. It wasn't a child". She was never sad about the miscarriage, because she never believed the "thing" in her was real. When she got pregnant of me she immediately knew it was right and that I was a "good" and "whole" child. I was born perfectly healthy.

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
Last night me and some family friends/cousins were outside telling scary stories. We eventually moved onto the topic of black magic despite our elders telling us not to. One of the girls made a snapchat video of us talking. When I get home the girl sends me the video saying it went weird. The video kept flashing purple and green spots and blurs. One part made the image of a smiling child. I was so freaked out that I deleted the video. It was so scary! When my cousin went home she found a pile of hair next to her bed and one of the other girls felt a presence behind her when she was praying late night.
Will never go against what my elders say to me now lol

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
A couple died in my old house. The woman killed herself in the garage and I'm not sure how the man died.
-Our dog would just stare at the back of the garage whenever he was in there.
-When our parents would go out for the night we would stay in the basement and once we heard high heels clicking across the floor upstairs.
-Another time my mom was tying my shoes (I was like 5 or something haha) and I asked her who the man was standing behind her which really freaked her out. I would see a man's shadow a lot.
-My mom had this saint statue on a table and it would always turn on its own to face the door leading to the garage
-Idk this may have been a cat haha but I was outside and I saw something white run super fast across the lawn and jump over a six foot fence. I started screaming and my parents had to come outside to get me to come in
-Once I was taking a shower and the shower curtain had like an indent/mold of a face.
When my family was in the kitchen one time I hid in a cabinet and was able to push the drawer above it open and they freaked out. It was the greatest prank I've ever done since everyone thought the house was haunted.

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
i am going to sleep now,so i won't read your stories tonight but tomorrow
but i wanted to share my experiences before sleep. it's gonna be a long post...
our house is quite old and my great-great-grandad was the one who built it and ever since, his generation (basically mine too) was residing in this house. his son,my great-grandad,did a lot for this house and gave it most of the status, value and history it now has. and even though he died almost 20 years ago,his spirit is still in the house. according to my grandparents,he didn't want to die. although he was so weak and had to stay in bed,he stayed awake for 3 days straight because he knew when he closes his eyes,he's not gonna open them again.
my great-grandad never met my mother and i. he terrorized, yes terrorized,us a lot. at least we felt terrorized.
i was still a kid,was in my room and my mom in the living room watching tv. someone knocked on my door and i just yelled something, thought it was mom but no one opened the door,so i asked my mom what she wanted. she had no clue what was going on. that happened twice.
a few years later,i wanted to go to bed, already had the lights off for 10minutes and out of a sudden it felt like someone had his face close to mine and i felt a breath. i turned the lights back on. had a bird back in the day,his cage next to my bed. he was awake but asleep before and looked very confused and soon started to jump around in his cage.
my mom once found a big blood stain in the bathroom. i used my own bathroom. my dad wasn't at home and my grandparents have no business in my parent's bathroom. she found the blood stain during the time my granddad is usually most active (in autumn).
once my mom,the dog and i were sleeping in the living room on the sofa. we had a little light on because our dog was already a bit blind and crashed into some furniture every now and then. i woke up,heard steps on the living room carpet and the dog started to bark, massive neck fur (!!!) then my mom woke up,hears the steps too and said STOP. the steps stopped immediately. that was the creepiest shit ever.
once my granddad had a little birthday party and invited people. i wasn't home, the party was next to my room. my room was locked but someone was in my room and knocked on the wall.
and once it sounded like someone was moving things in my room,my granny could hear it from downstairs.
it's a little bit scary because he seems to spend much time in my room. i am now abroad and left 4 years ago. just 2 weeks ago i was back home to visit everybody and it was a scary feeling to sleep in my room. but nothing happened.
i guess my he "terrorized" me a lot because he never had the chance to actually meet me. and he did a lot more things. and we are all 100% sure that it is my great-grandad. but it would be too complicated to explain that.
sorrry for the long post... i won't turn all my lights off tonight.

Re: Any experiences with the supernatural?
i was just reading all of your stories and damn, that lady in the baby son's room i am so glad i wasn't reading that yesterday! right now i am in a hotel room and the closet is right on the opposite side of my bed. it has a slide door but only one slide door,so you can only close one side of the closet. i'm gonna sleep well tonight also made me realize that my grandad did not terrorize me at all,if you compare these 2 stories....
