I've just stumbled upon these videos, so subbing to this thread. What are roulette projects?

Basically you write different products or types of products on a piece of paper and you pick them out of a hat and try to finish them in an alloted period of time. It could be specific like "rimmel stay matte powder" or more open for you to choose like "something you regret buying"

Its kinda sad fo see how much panning chanels have changed. I find the only videos I really like to watch any more are project polishes or one brand pps like all clinique or mac.

Why do you like one-brand pps?

I used to watch someone who did/does those...Glamour-something? I don't remember, but she was so annoying.

I think it may be because you get to see what works with some companies and what doesn't. Like if they loved the company's skincare or eye products but hated their face stuff like foundation concealer etc. Then I know which products to steer clear of. Or at least research before buying.

Is it just me or does Emily R seem off in her last video? Almost like she's hungover. I thought she was all into school. Maybe she's distracted or it could be the gum chewing.

I really like Emily but the gum chewing absolutely drove me crazy. It's so rude.

I usually like Emily too. For a second I thought she might start drunk videos a la Cherish. :tu:

I didn't get the gum chewing either. It'd be hilarious if she did videos drunk

Hey guys! I'm bored out of my mind when I attempt to watch any pp videos. Lately I've finished a few things after using them for a long time... No way in hell do people use up their products that well (from what I remember) especially things like lip gloss where they're removed the stopper and the whole container is clean. I'm sure they're just 'cleaning them out' for the views.

Is it common for Project Panners to use Youtube to sell their unneeded items?

I think there's always been people selling something specific like a pallet they don't use but definitely hasn't been as popular as it is now. They just sell everything now!

Not going to lie, I'd totally by some of the very lightly used products if they shipped to Canada. Just add the shipping cost to the price if someone from a different country wants to buy it instead of saying US only! Frustrating.

Palette.

I don't understand people selling their stuff via YouTube. Just seems like an excuse to ditch some stuff and buy more new crap

AGREED! They declutter, then buy again feel bad then declutter by selling. Did anyone see kitty's huge eyeshadow collection it's an older video now but damn girl. She did seem ashamed of them but she has enough eyeshadow for for centuries. I'm bored with the panners now, there's nothing new for them to do. They clean out containers and buy like 3 new things to replace the one old lipgloss they cleaned out.

It's the new bulimia. Buy, feel better, then feel guilty, purge, feel better again.

I just watched StrwberrySweet last video and she already busted her no buy. She bought three UD palette and says she doesn't feel guilty about it.
Until next declutter/purge session ?
