LOL I am so gutted I missed the comments on the video. I was watching it aloud one day (normally I have headphones in) and my bf was listening, even he said it sounded scripted.

Anna's makeup was hideous in her newest vlog.

There were people commenting that in any job one would expect constuctive criticism, therefore youtubers should learn and grow from their fanbase etc etc etc as well as the usual "F the haters" immaturity.

Unlike with say velvetgh0st etc Lily and Anna are refreshingly mature in their delivery, therefore the handling of something that is just a minor blip in such a manner is a poor show. Considering as well how easy her job was, get sent some lovely expensive products for free and meet a deadline in creating an advert of you using them meanwhile so many people working theit arses of couldn't justify buying one of Liz Earle's products....

honestly I feel like she needs to address it in some way, at some point... I'd hope she wouldn't do it with crocodile tears like last time and just say something mature about it but seeing as she disabled comments on it I think she's missed the maturity boat.

In other news I thought her vlog was pretty dull, I skipped through most of it. Also I hadn't really noticed it until someone here pointed it out but they eat out/get takeaway ALL the time. There was one day where she ate out at lunch and then dinner too. I don't get eating like that, it's so unhealthy and so expensive too! And it doesn't just seem to be her and Rich but also her parents.

It's also super spoiled to eat out constantly. And also time consuming.
But it doesn't bother her super business to spend 3-4 hours a day going out to eat.

I love eating out as much as anyone but surely there must be times where she just craves a home cooked roast or lasagne or something... It's just so weird, I can understand ordering in lunch if you're out but if you're at home all day what's the point of going into london just to pick up a takeout AND then going out for dinner. I don't think it's spoiled or anything is just seems excessive and a bit of an effort

The expense of eating out all the time is what bothers me the most. She says that the reason she still lives with her parents, is because Rich and her are saving up to buy a house. She probably could have been out of her parents house years ago if she stopped spending so much on make-up and take-aways. If I were her parents, I would be less than impressed to be honest.

I just feel really bad for Becky. She seems like such a sweet and earnest girl (unlike Lily) but she just does not come across well on camera... which is funny since she came from a newscaster background, right? And high definition does her no favors.

Also it just felt suuuper awkward & forced with them together. I just felt Lily was judging Becky the whole time. It made it uncomfortable to watch.

^ I agree with all of the above. Becky always seems like a lovely girl, but was very awkward in this video. Her hair extensions aren't doing her any favours and I almost felt bad for her seeing all the comments about how greasy her hair was. Sadly it was the first thing I thought when seeing the video as well. Such a shame as a couple of years ago she was gorgeous!
There was something about this video that actually made me feel kind of itchy and uncomfortable. They both looked fairly unkempt.
I also totally agree that Lily seemed to be looking at Becky with a very judgy and snooty look throughout the videos. I know that Lily does just have an element of that look to her anyway, but it was painfully obvious in this video.

She's so incredibly lazy with her blogposts.. Not only do they contain a few dozen words, but she uploads a reminder of her videos two days in the week and calls that a blog post? I just scrolled through her blog on bloglovin;
Monday and tuesday - post
Wednesday - reminder of a video
Thursday - post
Friday - reminder of a video
Saturday - the worlds shortest post (annoying wear life eats)
Sunday - nail post and reminder of a video

She can't honestly be serious about all the hard work she does?? Here in the netherlands, beauty bloggers post two blog posts a day and two to three videos a week. And ALL the posts contain swatches, etc.

Lazy Lily is gonna be my new nickname for her. Suits her well.

Lily is like 2 different people - the one in her main videos and then the person we saw in her Vlogmas which i have to say i really enjoyed, she was like a completely different girl in them. But now she has returned to her rather off putting demeanour once again. I didn't mind her too much in the video with Becky but that might have been more to do with the fact that i was totally shocked at how Becky looked. I haven't watched her in such a long time and she now looks so tired and unkept. I think maybe she has been through the mill a bit in her personal life so perhaps this accounts for it, but i do have a soft spot for Becky!. I was surprised to see them collaborate as i don't see that these two have anything in common and Becky is not a Gleam robot so they don't even have that connection?

Totally agree with that ^ I hadn't been subscribed to Lily very long before Vlogmas, so I fell in love with the girl I saw in the everyday videos. Now seeing a bored, apathetic, and monotoned person drone on is really off-putting.
