I didn't know where to put this and I couldn't find anything on home or apartment decor. I though it would be nice to exchange decorating ideas with each other.

Well I think it's cute to have a quirky item I. Your place. Like ingrid(MissGlamorazzi) panda decal. A lot of people on her thread hated it, but if it's just one thing like that and you can tie it in to your decoration I like it.

I would try to get nice furniture and not ikea, I mean get cheap ikea items if necessary but try to buy one long lasting piece at a time when you have the money.

I dislike reclaimed wood, west elm and pottery barn are selling it for an arm and a leg, when you could make most of it yourself by recycling pallets, there are a bunch of tutorials on Pinterest. They one to charge $1000+ for reclaimed pine wood, that is some of the worst wood out there.

Hope these helped kinda of like ideas and advice.
