Maybe it's because I don't know a child's scrawl from monet but all the faces look similar. Like same person, different make up and hair.

It could also be the mineral eye primer, btw.
The regular primer has a tapered tube, the mineral primer has a straight tube.
Either way, I'm certain it's ELF. That tube design is uncanny.

It actually looks like giorgio armani's cincealor which she has used in videos before. The tube is shaped the exact same way and if you look at the edge of the tube, there is a subtle hint of a black line which corresponds with armani's concealor.

Re: New Book: "Make Up Your Life"
this book is more amusing than i thought
it looks like she finished the drawing of her family and just squeezed promise in there because she had to or people would ask questions again. and dom looks bored as hell.

You see the Georgio Armani embossed on the cap. The one in the bag doesn't have any; none that I can see, at least. And the shade is light, much closer to the ELF primer. And Michelle is the type of person who wouldn't miss a chance to show off big brands.
Still, it could be a GA concealer, I suppose.

I see no em cosmetics in her make up bag
Maybe em is too special to share a bag with lowly brands like YSL.

Re: New Book: "Make Up Your Life"
I'm pretty sure in real life she wouldn't wear those shoes to workout, no one would. I think she wants her legs to look longer for the photoshoot and hoped that no one will notice that they are wedged heels. I remember she cropped them off and posted the pic on her instragram or something because people were pointing out how inappropriate those shoes are. She'll do anything to look good in photos even if it doesn't make any sense.Trololol wrote:
And the exercise paragraph; it's obvious that she has never taken a class or done any serious exercise. Firstly, those shoes are impractical. When exercising, you need shoes that are well fitted, cushioned, and has a sole that will provide proper grip. Essentially, you need running shoes. Heeled shoes are not suitable for any kind of workout because it will fuck up your sense of balance, and this means you are more likely to slip and fall, therefore injuring yourself. And a fall in a gym situation where you are surrounded by weights and equipment, or if you're out running in those shoes, you're more than likely to seriously injure yourself. Hell, I don't think there's any reputable gym around that would allow you in the floor wearing those shoes.

Wait what? I thought all it was was that she was asking if people washed the underwear they get before wearing it for the same time O_O or did I misunderstand. I hope I didn't misunderstood. ewERMAHGERD~ wrote:Right... a half assed etiquette book coming from this stank chick that doesn't wash her underwear, HAD TO ASK HER FANS IF THEY DO... the fans responded with YES... Michin then concealedher dirty panty with a pantyliner... voila! No more stinky panty!

Re: New Book: "Make Up Your Life"
Whoever was the stylist on the shoot for this book needs a new career...
Most of the outfits made her look stubby and awkward, and the ones that don't are still silly in the context of what they're about (i.e. the 'workout' picture).
I seriously always though Michelle was quite beautiful but in those pictures she looks flat out oddly proportioned and suddenly not that pretty anymore in the broad daylight...

I'm surprised that pic wasn't photoshopped to make her look thinner/toned. Especially that odd bulge in the stomach area.

Omg those drawings are.. Horrible. They indeed all look the same, weirdly proportioned and look at that oddly shaped laptop! So cringeworthy. You call yourself an art student? She needs a slap in the face.. back to reality. I can not believe she genuinely thinks those doodles look good. But then again this woman is so high up in her own ass.

Re: New Book: "Make Up Your Life"
I think the beauty of an art is perception, after all, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder...not everyone can find one piece of work beautiful. I've seen great artists with paintings that look like a child's work. Only after the significance of all the parts of the painting were explained I was able to appreciate its beauty. Obviously Mish's work isn't that deep, but what she considers pretty (pointy chins for example) might not be what everyone else finds attractive, but there will also be people who like it.

I have her book on my phone and I read through all of it. She didn't talk about her plastic surgery nor did she talked about her being a cyber bully. Her book is so basic and doesn't teach you much.

Most of it are things you read in lady magazines. It's absurd how she thinks that it's something worthy of being in her book. The reviews that rave anout this book are obviously blind minion worship. I'm so glad I didn't pay for it, because it's a load of bullshit. How to write a resume? The last resume she probably had to write was the one for her waitressing job. And her fashion advise is mediocre.
Other makeup books are essentially portfolios of the artist's work on other people's faces. Like Scott Barnes' book; he does the makeup of different people, including Kim K (ugh I know, but he showcases his technique!)
Michelle's book is essentially an excuse for her to model for pictures. She pads the contents with pedestrian info on common life situations as though she were qualified to give out advise.
I can't even with this hack.

Re: New Book: "Make Up Your Life"
^^
I have her book....but I couldn't read after My life so far part 2....like NO... All the rest of that shit doesn't deserve to be in a book, even if it is a self help book. Its magazine material like you said. Couldn't she ask her good friend Anna Wintour to get her a column on Vogue. That would have made more sense than this book.
I'm also appalled that she would buy Lancome when she was at Ringling, when her mom and brother struggled so they could pay her expensive tuition. Sure, she was making money from YT, but she hasn't mentioned that she sent that money to her mother so I'm assuming that all money she made from YT she used for herself. She used all the money to buy makeup and video props. Then she got another job and made 200$ a weekend which she used to get art supplies and makeup products and what tiny amount was left she sent to her mother. What the actual fuck. Why did she need so much makeup?? And if she was really buying makeup "from the bin" it wouldn't cost so much. I bet she never looked at the bins

Exactly I was so disappointed to even spent 10 dollars on that book. Bobbi brown books are good as well. She kept plugging in Em cosmetics throughout her book hoping people would want it lol.
Here is something typed word from word from her book:
Title: Online Arguments
"Fighting online is such a waste of time and never ends well for anyone. Whether you're at fault or the other person is totally wrong, you look equally bad. If you're the one being confrontational, you need to ask yourself why. What do you think you'll gain by fighting publicity? Another problem with fighting online is that it creates a permanent record. You can;t take things back. If you're going to say something make sure you really mean it. It's so easy for your words to get twisted and for the actual meaning to get lost. I've said things I didn't mean and wished I could take them back, but I can't. I learned the hard way. If you can walk away from an online fight, you are the stronger person. Ignoring is the weapon of choice. No one gets hurt. Sometimes you just need prespective. Turn off your computer or put your device away and do something else. come back twenty minutes later and see if you still feel the same way. When you feel passionate about something, you're not thinking clearly. You are speaking from your heart, not your brain. That's not the worst thing, but you do need to consider the ramifications if your emotions get the best of you"
LOL really Michelle? But you can't even apologize to that girl you cyber bullying without making some type of excuses with saying it's all your fault XD
