It's supposed to be about bright spring lip colors, but everything was muted. Where's the hot pink, electric orange, and purple?! they all just looked plain.

The transitional effects are quite reminiscent of Hey Claire, aren't they? Quite grown up. Not the usual editing style the Fowlers like to adhere to. You know, where the title of the video is in white writing, cast over a slow-mo shot of some products, with a filter of big translucent circles and music that wouldn't be out of place in a nursery. Oh, wait, that's almost every 'beauty guru' intro...

But I digress. If they did videos like Hey Claire where it was straight to the point and had some decent editing, they'd be a jillion times more tolerable.

LOL I know, they way overdid it on the smoothing of her face. The lines under her eyes actually look worse because the effect makes them look so odd :/ It doesn't completely erase them, so when the rest of her face looks airbrushed, the remainder of her lines that we can still see look completely out of place.

Also Elle looked like she was really annoyed the whole time while Blair seemed to have way more fun.

I just noticed, but Elle is really not that pretty.. esp in this video. She looks like she could be Blair's mom

I wasn't into the fact that all the colors were from one brand... It made it feel even more sponsored than normal. And I didn't realize how similar all the colors were until they zoomed out on all of the writing on the glass. Also, Blair looks like she's trying really hard to be fun & Elle always acts a bit embarrassed of her and it comes across as even more awkward than if she were to just go with it.

I did like the production value in this video. You can definitely tell there was a crew of people helping them. I would think the views would be more due to this.
