I notice that Youtube has some (not many, I believe) channels where you have to pay to watch. If itsjudytime/itsjudyslife was a Paid Channel would you still watch?

No. The only family vlog I actually would pay to watch is The LaVigne Life.

Nope, I'm not even subscribed now. Just watch the odd vlog now and then. There's no way they're that interesting that I'd pay to watch.

I just don't find the vlog life to be worth paying for, for any vlogger. I can kinda understand Beauty subscriptions but only if they actually teach you something and aren't a walking advertisement. Which is the opposite of the current majority.

I know a lot of channels are doing the Patreon thing, which is optional and if you do pay you get "bonus" stuff that normal viewers don't get. Judy takes a year to send out give-a-way prizes so any bonuses she offers she wouldn't even delivery properly.

No way. They do the same boring thing each day. Wake up late, eat ayggs & avocados, cue Julianna dancing to Pandora, twins cry from hunger/lack of attention, Julianna is sent to take a nap she doesn't need- but Judy needs some "me- time" and that's more important, Benji tends to tomato-bear, they sit down to eat 3-hour paasssa & cookies made from two week old dough.

They would lose money if they switched to a paid-subscription based channel. They would have to adhere to a certain standard of entertainment, and they are FAR too lazy.

I don't think many would.
They miss the usual time to upload vlogs way to often and I believe that - along with spending all day inside , doing nothing but showing the twins crying and Julianna dancing and eating while Benji explains for the 1000 x how he does the same 3 dishes he knows how to cook...

... all of this contributes to the decrease on the views.

Daily vlogging must be annoying but they MUST force themselves to do SOMETHING different otherwise more and more viewers will stop watching.

They can go to swim classes with the twins , gym class with juliana.

Even if they can't record it, they can take pics and blur other people's faces - same with videos.

I wouldn't pay for any YT channel, to be honest. Perhaps Lisa Eldridge would be worth it... but not even about her I am too sure anymore.

THIS. Only ones I would even think about subscribing are ones that make good, informative tutorials.

Most Youtubers, especially gurus, do the same thing ad nauseum. Same tutorials with the same materials they were sent by companies (Tarte, Urban Decay, Benefit). No one's unique or truthful anymore. All about the paycheck.
