Intertrigo

Hello all. I have been hit with a bad case of intertrigo. It is underneath my breasts and belly. And it hurts.

I have been to the doctor for it, and she prescribed a steroid cream, which worked, but it also left my skin very thin. I am looking for some tips on how to manage it. The past few weeks have been awful. I believe it is because of the Halloween candy I have been eating, as it has been messing with my type 2 diabetes a bit.

I shower daily, and use an antibacterial soap, such as dial on it. I also make sure it is dry before putting on clothes. I have tried vinegar, and man did that burn.

Any other tips and tricks would be much appreciated. Thanks!
