I don’t understand why Tanji made lists of brands to boycott and made guides which seemed like a very considerate thing to do and showed her activism to only go attend a L’Oréal brand event. And then posts multiple stories that people should mind their business ? Who does that ? It seems like she hoped if she didn’t post anything about the event no one would notice but tons of other south Asian content creators attended this event and posted it onto Tik Tok. Here’s the comments on some videos she defending her self saying she did as a favour as a friend (assuming this is Kaushal) but imo both ways whether she was paid for it it’s clear she doesn’t need the money and if she did it for free then that’s even worse because she gave L’Oréal her time and got herself free exposure !
