If she spent half the effort into cooking a decent homemade meal than she did dressing up for IG she'd be rid of that weight in no time. The only 'home made' thing there is the pizza which she gets the kids do make
Also "husband cooks his own meals"?...while you've been sitting home all day? Don't tell me deep down he's happy with this arrangement, probably sick of hearing her femininst nonsense and too scared to get into an argument. Doesn't sound very 50-50 to me...

Re: Pakistani Bloggers/Influencers Part 10
Hmm I honestly feel like the entire group is such a showoff! Sejuti took her hijab off and I don’t understand how does she have so much time to get ready every single day lol? With 3 kids? Her hair look ugly.. and sufiii and her sister sobi omg! Beyond annoying lol. She had like 10 wedding events. How do these people justify so much money wasting? And now she is pregnant! Idk her pregnancy pics looked so weird in tight clothes. All of them waste a lot of money on kids birthday decor blah blah blah! They are all so privileged but pick and choose whatever suits them from religion lol. I find it hilarious when sania keeps saying “i dont wana talk about my marriage i am afraid of nazar” LOL nobody cares about your bald husbandNewyorker93 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 27, 2023 12:47 pmI follow them…

I used to follow them and occasionally check out their content. Don't really have many thoughts but out of the entire group I liked Sofie the most, feels like she was authentic with what she posted. Last time I checked her account was private, don't know if it is anymore.
I like Sania's content that she shares in regards to kids and other advice etc. also pretty relatable in some ways I guess.
The rest of them are just generic influencers tbh. I always wondered how they're all so close and how they managed to be close for so many years. I get having a tight friends circle but even after getting married and having kids they seem to be tight knit so good on them. It's rare and difficult to do when you're married/have kids.

Pakistani Bloggers/Influencers Part 10
Anyone catch Mariam shibly’s pregnancy joke april fools prank? Yikes how thick headed are these influencers? Don’t they know joking about pregnancy is not okay? So many women are facing fertility issues and miscarriages just how triggering it is to joke about a fake pregnancy. Women in America are lacking reproductive rights and yet this chick thinks she can joke about something so delicate and triggering to some women. Also isn’t she in her 30’s? Who jokes about something like this it’s so immature even if it’s April fools she should know better!
Also her content has been so cringe lately..who wears a halter neck dress to an iftar dinner?? Desperate for likes!

she is SOO annoying. She is really desperate to become a big influencer on tiktok as well. her content is not relatableAri82 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 1:24 pmAnyone catch Mariam shibly’s pregnancy joke april fools prank? Re: Pakistani Bloggers/Influencers Part 10
I’ve mentioned her on here a few times but no one ever has anything. She’s a freshie from Pak who faked it till she made it. Used to commute from the boroughs of New York like queens and Brooklyn to capture content and then got married and moved to a city miles away from London but pretended to live in London lol. Of course like most hijabis on the gram she’s obsessed with luxury items and I’m positive half her stuff is fake mixed in with a few real purchases now. She’s also obsessed with Dubai because of all the freebies. I think she’s a major cat fish and don’t really see the point of hijab lol

Re: Pakistani Bloggers/Influencers Part 10
They all went to undergrad together… I think Rutgers and now all of them live in the same general area. The Muslim community in New Jersey is extremely cliquey which is why they’ve been able to maintain their friendship through all these new life changes. They fall into the religious but materialistic group of the central and south Jersey crowd. Also, sobi canopi is SO annoying. I don’t understand the point of her hijab with the tight clothes and baby dump displaying. In this area most of the women just wear hijab as a fashion statement and because it makes them seem as better wifey material. Sad reality.zxo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 31, 2023 3:30 am

Yeah that didn't make sense to me either. Isn't being a hijabi also about modesty in general. Like even if you did a photoshoot why'd you have to share it. I'm not even hijabi but I wouldn't feel comfortable taking those pics and then sharing for the world to see but her life. Sejutim also ended up taking off her hijab so who knows, Sobi might too.

Re: Pakistani Bloggers/Influencers Part 10
That entire gang of bloggers are all just generic “Muslim” bloggers who love to show off their lavish parties, photo shoots and whatnot. The thing that really irks me about sincerelysania is her obvious depiction of her perfect life and like mashallah to you and your kids and husband, but again it’s just showing off. Her family and her are so privilege and all her posts just reek of privilege.
She was running a private therapy practice, don’t take insurance and we’re charging more than $150 per session. I’m all for supporting Muslim businesses and Muslim women but the least they could do is offer being in network with insurances. Also that therapy practice she was in- my friend one time tried get therapy there and she said it was just a big clique of girls who would just emphasize “practicing religion” and not really do more than that. Also if a group of friends work together like that and they are seemingly well known in the community I sure as hell wouldn’t trust to put my business for them to all know.
Anyone follow her sister @thatgirlyusra? I absolutely cannot stand her and “modest fashion”

Are you referring to the olive branch therapy? And omg! right?? I’ve heard they’re not the best with patient confidentiality. They’re to gossip about their patients who not only are paying them so much but also trusting them for legitimate advice. I honestly feel like they wouldn’t even understand half the problems since their own lives are so “perfect”.Doohoo1194 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 7:40 pmThat entire gang of bloggers are all just generic “Muslim” bloggers who love to show off their lavish parties, photo shoots and whatnot. Re: Pakistani Bloggers/Influencers Part 10
oh yeah! It was Olive Branch Therapy! I think Sania has left the practice and she's been doing Mommy and Me sessions at one of the nearby masjids which I think is a good initiative especially for new muslim moms. But outside of that, I don't really see anything special about her other than her again showing off her lavish lifestyle and privilege.Newyorker93 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 11:51 amAre you referring to the olive branch therapy? Does anyone follow @beautybynaz? I know a lot of people like her for down to earthness but she's another one of those privileged AF bloggers who just show their expensive clothes, parties, travels and whatever. Something that recently just irked me about her is the amount of PR packages she gets to just advertise products bc she appeals to a certain audience. I remember when her older daughter was first born she was sharing some cute outfit ideas and linked a sweater and I clicked on it cause it was cute, the sweater was like $200 and mind you the baby was not even 6 months yet. Fast forward to recently - she got a KidsBolo which retails for like almost $200 bc someone sent it her way anonymously. She could've given it away because she clearly has the means to be able to get these expensive things. I wills say she is a little bit better than most of the other bloggers but again the shallowness and high end life style is just extra
