Why do I get the feeling that Max comes from a wealthy family? Did someone mention it a while ago? As much as I can't stand the douche, I don't think he's after Sanne's money honestly, maybe her potential, but it's not the same as Jessica and Pete. I mean, Max works alongside Sanne, they're a team and making money together, she would have never gotten this far without Max let's face it. Who do you think buys her subscribers and films/edits her crap? I also think he had a hand in the whole matcha idea, he's JAPANESE after all. She's got the potential/the face, and he's the man behind the scenes making it happen, that's how I see it. They make a pretty good (and insufferable) team, they both contribute. Where as Jessica basically brings nothing to the table and didn't lift a finger for the comfy trophy-wife life she's about to embark on. Her only contribution is probably in the sack. My 2 cents.

You are right wildfire, I pretty sure he comes from a wealthy family. I was mostly joking. I do think Sanne has more money on hand than he does, though (I bet the house is in her name and she pays most of their daily expenses). Her Ralph Lauren campaigns alone probably netted her a million+. He’s just leeching off her success... Jess got away in time! The fact that Jess has more followers than Sanne on IG (and more engagement) tells me that Max isn’t all that when it comes to digital outreach. Their matcha brand hardly has any engagement, even with Armie Hammer posting about it on his IG. She would be fine without him, but he wouldn’t be fine without her.

As much as I can't stand Jessica, I wouldn't wish Max on anyone And yes, Sanne would definitely be fine without him, her modelling career surely made her plenty of money between RL and VS, but at least he's helping, working. I would never buy their brand, I order my Uji Matcha online from Harney & Sons Fine Tea, a Major Specialty Tea Retailer from New York. Sometimes I order Uji Matcha from Domatcha, a Matcha specialist from Canada, because their retail price is cheaper.

I bet they will sell their brand for $60 or something, but keep in mind a good Matcha retail price doesn't have to be expensive. I even had good Matcha for $15, so don't be fooled people.

I find her very annoying, her channel started off great 3 years ago, but now she is person that does everything for fame. She is not down to earth like she used to be. Her being social media famous and LA did really change her.

Well their/her Matcha brand is not sourced from Uji, but a different part of Japan.

There are so many types of Matcha, but I’ll have a look at Uji Matcha now. And I'll def consider the online shops you mentioned Harney & Sons Fine Tea or Domatcha
