Alright so I'm following one of Shane's stans on Twitter (she's a friend, don't judge me) and she's literally putting herself in debt buying all this merch Shane's pushing out. I don't know how to comprehend this.

It's incredible how much Shane has managed to brainwash otherwise intelligent adult women into thinking a 30 year old millionaire will be soooooo saaaaad if you don't buy his makeup and merch and they just hAvE tO sUpPoRt widdle shaneykins.

I have this cousin wh spent money my dad and I lent her for rent on buying all the liquid lips, conspiracy palette and mirror, then starts asking to borrow some MORE money like I wouldn't have seen her insta yesterday? We nearly fell out because (weirdly) i wasn't down for skinting myself for a month trying to help her out while she buys Shane Dawson another Gucci robe. She was shocked that anyone in the world didn't love Shane and J* and dismissed any criticisms I raised as being "from in the past".

I used to be able to have an intelligent debate with this woman but when it comes to them she regresses to a teenage Stan and just won't entertain any facts. And bizarrely... she's acting more immature online & obsessing over them more and more as time goes on, it's like I'm watching her age in reverse?

I worry that the majority of J*/Shane fans AREN'T teenagers, they're women in their 20s regressing to a teenage mindset ...

People in that mindset, who “Stan” someone that intensely literally can’t see their flaws. I feel like I see it the most in the YouTube world. You’ll see youtubers get INCREDIBLY valid critiques and criticisms and their fans come at the people with those points like rabid animals, hearing none of it, dismissing it all as haters/hate and then the YouTuber is, once again, not held accountable for their shitty actions or just to even be a better content creator in general. It’s a symptom of the cancel culture and fandoms and all that in my opinion. It’s so stupid to me too, cause I’ll see genuine, well thought out comments that if the creator would read them and take them to heart and try to grow/learn from the comment, their career/content would probably improve drastically.

I get so uncomfortable with the way he talks about his prescribed medication and makes it a part of his personality. There's just nothing funny about having to take medication. I always feel like it makes Andrew uncomfortable too. If he talked about it like a normal person to bring awareness and normalcy to it, I'd be glad, but he's so weird about it. i think they're both invested, but for different reasons. ryland wants shane's money and the fame that comes along with him, and shane wants a partner and something steady.

Shane definitely has some internal homophobia that I doubt he will ever address with himself or a therapist let alone his audience. Things that he had no issue with when he was with Lisa are a huge issue to him with Ryland. It doesn’t help that Lisa was clearly a homemaker type that took care of the grown man and Ryland can just barely make it through a cooking tutorial. Also he’s a money hungry gold digger and clout chaser. Which everyone from Rylands family to Jeffree Star is aware of. The only people who don’t seem to get this are their straight teenage female fans who love gay relationships.

I’d really like to know what pills he is taking and what doctor is prescribing them. Homeboy is definitely not mentally all there anymore. Something is off and either Shane found a shady doctor that will give him what he wants or Shane is under playing what is wrong with him and he is not on the right stuff. I think there's love between Shane and Ryland, but I don't know how deep it goes and I don't think it's the enduring kind. I think it's a factor in Shane's mental health declining. I feel like if you lost weight, found the love of your life, bought a new home, had a thriving career which gave you free time to travel and get plenty of rest...that you'd be happy. Instead, Shane is struggling.

If Shane and Ryland weren't dating, I don't think they'd even be friends. And that might be the problem. You never see him laugh with Ryland like he did with Garrett, Trish, Lisa or Drew.

Tbh I think if Shane did prefer Lisa/women it's probably just because it's easier to compare himself to men and see his own shortcomings. For example, Shane has made several comments in the past that indicate he's jealous of Ryland's body. Shane and Lisa definitely were in love. Or at least Lisa was in love and Shane was extremely found and in love with the idea of being in love. Either way that goes beyond what Shane and Ryland obviously don't feel for one another. Ryland looks just as annoyed as of late with Shane as Shane looks with him.

The sick thing is the fact that they clearly are going to go through with this wedding. Does Ryland really need more free shit in terms of gifts and does Shane really need more views in terms of the wedding video? Which there is no doubt in my mind they won't do. Doesn't it take six months to divorce in California or something? Good luck with that one... They are better off pulling a Tana and Jake if all they want is money, gifts, and views which I have to assume is the case.

If Ryland and Shane really want children they are going to have no choice but to get a surrogate or find a private adoption of like a teen mom or something. No adoption agency is going to allow Shane in his current state to adopt a child regardless of how much money he has or where they live. And Ryland is not mature enough himself to be the "strict parent." Shane is also too completely out of his mind to be the "fun parent."

When it comes to Shane and his mental well being in general. He needs to check himself in for a few nights and start going to therapy. Actually examine his life in a mirror. He's in his early 30's living in a nice home in one of the most expensive areas in California with a giant platform. If he is seriously still pissed off over the fact that he isn't a famous actor or director idk what to tell him because he probably won't be at this point. He's also got to find a HEALTHY medium when it comes to his weight and grasp that showering and eating properly is alright.

Whether he wants to admit it or not, he obviously has no one around to help and guide him, or at least tell him to see a therapist and deep down he knows no one will give a fuck once his career starts to go downhill. He needs someone to shake him up otherwise Ryland and his beloved friends will consume him completely and we'll end up with a stupid family channel, I'm 100% sure Ryland is looking forward to monetize his future child.
