I know this thread is mostly about Gulf influencers but does anyone follow Sarah Hermiz? She became famous after posting cute pics of her little daughters in designer or designer inspired outfits. She seems to be married to a rich guy in Michigan. She is extremely tacky! Wears the flashiest, tackiest designer items but thinks she looks amazing. Hi everyone. I joined because I found this thread. Im glad im not the only one who thinks these arab "fashionistas" lack fashion and style. Can anyone tell me why women love these influencers? I rarely see them wearing something actually good (not trying to be mean, just being honest). I expect more from Arabs but they really arent pulling through with style decisions. How did they become famous?

The style in Arab countries especially Gulf countries is very specific and can be very OTT so I can see why people not accustomed to it might think that. I see what you're saying but I am arab myself so I know a lot of them are dressing very basic. For example when I think of a fashionista I think of this qatari girl on IG @Hendrumaihi

To me, this is a fashionista. Granted she has money, but one can still put together outfits of that caliber even on a budget.

Back around 2014/15 when I found Maram on IG she had a better fashion style (when she was just starting out). I dont know about much of these arab influencers though. The ones Ive seen on IG are model Roz, Maram, Rania, Reem, and Ola. There are a couple others but I forgot their names and I dont think they are "influencers" tho (such as Hend).

I don't think Dima is ugly at all she has really gorgeous natural features especially her eyes. She's one of the few natural influencers around. The only thing is her face is a bit too thin she needs to gain a little bit of weight thats all.
