But he really likes having famous friends, getting voice acting jobs without needing to improve, getting interviews based on the number of subs he has, and having "the best fundraising group on youtube" rather than doing the most for charity on youtube. Definitely dislikes the idea of fame, though. He talks about how he used to share too much and he's now cut back on that. I don't really see that seeing as we know way more about him and his relationship than we ever did with him and Signe. Anyway he's not sharing his private life now by playing games without recording them (yes, that is literally what he says).
Apparently after his break last year, he returned to making videos with an energy he didn't even know he had. Wasn't that the period when people suddenly started thinking he was seriously depressed and lacking in energy?
"YouTubers can easily start getting their self worth from their channel and their numbers, he said, "so you realize that, when you step away, you are not your numbers." If he didn't care about the numbers, he wouldn't force himself to go back to 2 videos a day. He even said in that 30 video that he had a problem with lower views (while also saying that he didn't).
I didn't see him talk about anything that could be about the tea blogs or here, but there was definitely a lot of stuff that was just straight up lies to make himself look better. Seeing as he's bringing back PMA, I think we're going to get mental health guru Jack again. He did it in 2018 and he really seems to be reverting back to that person, even though that was when his thread here really started kicking off. Imo, he wants the community to be back how it was, but he doesn't know how to get there. He's trying to be his past self when he's changed since then, and he's missing that his past self caused the community to be what it is today.
It's like what he said about trying to be funny: He throws stuff out there and sees what sticks. He doesn't understand why people are calling him out more than they used to or why the community has changed, so he's going to try out being his old (but still not best) self until it sticks.
