OMG I'm dying...another proof they read here...Alex talked about renting vs. owning on his stories. He said he doesn't even own a bike because it's less attachment!!! Um yeah buddy, so you're telling me you don't own a place to live because you don't want to be attached? Yeah, sure smart financial decision dumbass.

Does Mimi alter her dresses to that upper thigh length? I can't imagine her dresses being that unflattering length originally and they would be too short on anyone taller. She must be hemming some of them... She is so insecure and can't even try different styles, different lengths, always wearing the same thing over and over again. It's either sausage pants or dresses. Referring to gossipgurulaughter - I agree on everything you wrote. I think it’s the fact that people here write the TRUTH about their lives which Mimi and Alex do not want to accept. It’s hard if people can see through you and tell things „in your face“. I guess they were trying to hide the truth about their lives to themselves.

It butthurts Alex when someone points out that he has not enough money to buy properties or cars. It’s his main trigger. He grew up poor, did not make anything to be successful- his wife and her sister did - and now again people are pointing out that he is not good enough, not successful, does not have the money to do all the things rich people do.


Referring to the paragraph written about Mimi being stuck in a teenage mind is great analysis She behaves very odd, especially when she is around with normal people her age - it’s even more obvious.

I am 100% sure Mimi told Leyla about it and now M is no one likes me. I like Leyla, she is the normal and I get the impression she tries very hard to be a good mother to her kids. She seems to be a REAL empath, not a fake one like her sister is but claims to be.

It often looks cold on days when Mimi wears dresses. People around her were bundled up a few days ago.

Whenever I watch their videos, it leaves me with a feeling of full emptiness inside. Their lives at least to me seem so boring that it actually hurts. They have no goals in life or do something to improve their lives.

I mean if Mimi is so obsessed with living her dream of ballet through Alexa AND is somehow unhappy with her shapy legs, she could start doing sports or start with ballet for adults (like amateur classes).

I feel like every day is the same at their house. It seems so dull yet they try to convince people that their lives are sooo great bla bla.

And hey - it ALL would not be necessary to talk about if they would be honest to the bone and say „Well we once had luck with our China hair stuff and that’s it now we spend our days filming ourselves and being Youtubers / Instagramers“.

So apparently Mimi filmed her daughter while she was looking in somewhat mirror and saying to herself „You‘re so beautiful.“

And M responded „Did you just say you re so beautiful “ and encouraged her.

- I do not want to judge other mothers and I am not and will never say anything bad about children of other people.

However, that situation combined with the looking at herself in mirror nearly all the time when M films her at home or during ballet class, leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Again - I am NOT meaning to say a n y bad word about a kid. Just observing.

I think we should start raiding their Instagram comments the way they’re going about preaching not to use plastic and reduce waste. The Cons drink plastic bottled water, fly first class causing more carbon footprint, flying in family members to babysit, taking pointless trips, buying quick fashion, not taking public transport, etc. Con con con!!!

If you look at today's ballet class stories, when Alexa is twirling on her own with other kids sitting behind her, the girl on the far right is giving Mimi a nasty look. Kids are very perceptive and realize that's not normal behavior from a mother (also she may have heard her own mom complaining about Mimi, who knows)

Also people speculating about what happened to Mimi to make her so strange, I think it is the life she leads. It's arrested development. George Clooney said that fame stops you at the age in which it happens to you, e.g. you become a hollywood start at 21 and everyone starts licking your ass and saying yes to everything you do - then your experience post that isn't going to serve you. The years prior may count as you've had some rejection, struggle, mixed with people that challenge you and aren't just fans. The regular person out and about in society from 21 to 41 is going to live a real life. The 'celebrity' (especially if massively adored) is not going to end up with a well rounded experience come age 41 and they will probably stuck in the place they were in the beginning. That's why traditionally actors used to protect their privacy so much, they know if they start mixing their personal life with their persona that it's going to take away any normalcy. Think how sad Marilyn Monroe was....Norma Jean...(another name changer).

Hence, why when someone said Mimi has the habits of a teenager - I think this lifestyle is keeping her in that phase. Most teenagers go through a phase of heightened image obsession, starring in the mirror, wondering how big their bra size will be, hoping maybe they'll grow taller etc. Then you out into the world realise it's not high school anymore and your real friends don't care what shoes you are wearing, and begin the journey of letting that shit go and accepting what you are to some degree or another and that energy goes into other things. Mimi never got over it, and instagram culture just encourages it. The world is getting more image obsessed, but luckily some people are rebelling and offering a counter-culture to the typical images (the plus size models, Lena Dunham types) but Mimi just continues to not only be sucked in by it but actively perpetuate it.

I like Leyla and wondered if her judgement post on insta is because she reads here too? I'm sure she is no doubt protective of Mimi, but really - when I see my family behave like assholes, I tell them. Likewise for me. We all need people to tell us when we are out of line rather than just enable shitty behaviour. She could say 'Hey, I judge you saying you care about the environment but flying Mom out for a few days'. Judgement is necessary to make assessments. Writing here is a statement that I strongly reject what they promote and that doesn't mean I can't be empathetic with Mimi for the fact that she really doesn't seem very harmonious. It would be great if they could turn their content around, and make it more substantial, but mostly I think these two just need to go back to Kansas and have a time out from their weird social media bubble and maybe actually make a life rather than just document a half one, albeit very shiny looking. They have the money, go start another business, anonymously, if they must.

It's funny how she says in her last youtube video that the idea came to her a few weeks ago... As if this is some unusual, big, creative idea that requires explaining... this was just a q&a video?! Also, why did she tag other youtubers at the end? Is she hoping this will become the new viral trend like assumptions about me videos? Her questions were incredibly boring, just a plain old Q&A that she tailored to what she wanted to talk about, they didn't even sound like they were genuinely asked by her followers.
Occasionally I wonder if Mimi is trolling everyone but usually I think she believes these things about herself. I think she truly believes she is this incredibly creative mind, an environmental crusader and a present parent who is on IG less than 5 minutes a day.
