Jen does almost nothing about Sephora, including KVD's new release (the Vegan Love palette.) But now, out of the blue, Jen's got a video up, critiquing KVD's video from last week on her antisemitism and anti-vax ideas. Jen's video is so "you can make up your own mind" because Jen's giving you the fax!

My opinion on Kat Von Disease is irrelevant, but watching Jen "presenting" the facts was just so cringey I got hives. Is she now incorporating gossip into her channel? (I'd be happy if she actually told people about new releases, something she doesn't do much of anymore, at least as far as Sephora is concerned.)

She got so many things partially wrong I just gave up. I guess this is Jen expanding her horizons to add tea to her repertoire. I guess she had to. She doesn't do much of actual makeup anymore.

As far as I’m concerned she’s got nothing to say about anti semitism considering what is allowed in her group. I left it after a person made a comment about wanting plastic surgery because people asked her if she was Jewish. That post was up for hours even after a lot of us protested how messed up that was. Her bff tabitha didn’t think it was a big deal. Only a person who hates Jewish people would care about looking like one.

It’s pathetic imo that she is going to start gossiping for views.

Not to mention Jen's own insensitive comments surrounding Black Lives Matter and to other influencers who are POC. I believe it was discussed in the previous thread, but she was upset because people were protesting police brutality in Baltimore (I believe) which forced her child's school to cancel a field trip. She was upset by it and made comments to the idea that the protestors were interrupting her life and ruined her day. There was no compassion to the victim. She had a lot of backlash and deleted the video, so most aren't aware of the comments she has made.

And need I remind anyone her really inappropriate comments to Alissa Ashley's review of the Tarte foundation? Alissa made the video to further dialogue about inclusivity, but Jen didn't like that. She wanted Alissa to review the product so she would know whether to buy it to review as well. It was so selfish. Again, it was deleted. Gotta keep that sparkly public image.

Ain’t that the truth! Reminds me of the time she was doing videos about Twati’s Halo crap (pretty sure that’s what it was) and she was talking about things being or not being “statistically significant.” But the way she was using it made it very clear that she didn’t understand what that term meant. She was going by a lay person’s interpretation which is not at all accurate. Then someone in the comments educated her on what “statistically significant” actually means (of course Jen has to love the comment to show she’s “open” to being corrected).

Jen has announced a brand collab, but not makeup related.

She just keeps throwing things out there and seeing what sticks. I've heard Tati got backlash for a K-Beauty video, but where is the backlash from Jen doing a mini series on it? It didn't get views, so she cut it. She announced she was going to do a just swatches series after Beauty News did one. That flopped so she stopped that too. It always amazing to me she has as so many followers when she can't stay dedicated to anything aside from What's Up In Makeup show.

She and Tab are SO very bitter than Beauty News came out of nowhere to pass up Jen. Tab is so bitter she has stated to others she would leave if Jen tried to change WUIM to have commentary style like Beauty News vs awkward news anchor style. Tab is a member of the Beauty News groups to monitor posts from people also in the WUIM group.

I have noticed that the end of WUIM every Sunday Jen has been waxing poetic about Tabitha for several weeks now - gushing over her and how wonderful she is. Maybe Tabitha is unhappy and is thinking of leaving. I do wonder how all of that works. Does Tabitha get a cut from Jen for all the work she does doing the entire show and website? What does Tabitha do "in real life"? Does anyone know anything about her?

She doesn't work and won't even reveal her face to anyone. It's so weird, especially since she has taken liberty to shame other people for their selfies. From what I can gather she is possibly disabled or just retired. I know she doesn't drive and has someone drive her to do errands. She has also dropped clues that she is living on a fixed income/doesn't have much money. Maybe that's why she is so bitter than other people have money to spend on makeup? It seems her whole life revolves around What's Up in Makeup and the group.

She doesn't care about Jen's other videos so long as they don't mimick Beauty News. Then she gets pissed. She doesn't even like makeup. By her own admission all of her makeup fits into a ziplock bag (not a bad thing, just odd that she chose Jen to obsess over). In the group when people talk about spending money on makeup, hauls, or splurging, she is notorious for making snide comments about how people should be putting their money into a 401k or IRA. As someone who watches the WUIM full show and daily minutes, but is not a part of the facebook group or anything, this whole thing with Tab and the other ladies is totally bizarre. Jen is the face of it all, and obviously has to put time in filming and reviewing products, but all these other people who do research and moderate discussions for her - why do they do it??? I doubt she pays them anything, they probably never get any of the PR perks she gets (and I doubt she gets much anyways), and it's not like they can get a good reference from it.

And what's with the catty bitches who moderate the livechat?? They're always going back and forth talking to each other like they're above everyone else, and have all these secrets and inside jokes between themselves and Jen that they'll bring up. And when Jen is saying hello to people in the lives, she always acknowledges the same damn people (who are mostly the reporting group anyways), making it seem even more clique-like. ^^ Read twice for the Beauty News girls. It's exactly the same shizz over there,.except they seem to maintain a vicelike grip over what gets posted more directly than through mods. The mods seem to DO most of it but I feel like K&H are the nearest dictating from the shadows what goes on via a vis 'The Rules'. They really are on to a winner with those groups- all the devoted stans doing their job for them. With Jen it sounds like she's surrendered control to tabitha . She's created a monster and couldn't take back the reins even if she wanted to.

That theory is very plausible. And if she is the victim of a horrible accident, my heart goes out to her. The thing that irks me the most is Tab's attitude. When I was in the group before, I asked if someone was getting Jeffree Star's new line. This was a couple years ago. Tab immediately told me off on the post that they do not 'discuss JS in this group'. Now, suddenly Jen is on board for JS again. The entire group/channel seems weird to me. It's like she saw she would have to utilize JS's name/brand to get views. Much as she did with that KVD video yesterday..

That's exactly what it's about. I hate all this mercenary back peddling bullshit. I hate all the backpeddling from people in a non mercenary way (like people who now think it's OK to buy Lime Crime even though Nazi fancy dress is still on their board of directors) so I REALLY hate all the people doing it for adsense shill. It's so disappointing. I find it disappointing when people don't take a stand on issues generally and continue to give these wankers money and publicity, but if you've never given a shit about where your dollar goes than fair enough - you do you boo and I'll choose to support your channel - or not - depending solely on whether I like your content. If all of a sudden you decide to be "impartial" and "all about the makeup" after being all *ALLY* for a good while cause it suits YOUR back pocket then well. ... bye girl. Ha. I used to be friends with Jen pre-Tab before Jen was at 10,000 subscribers. I remained a supporter for few years, but she has changed so much. Over time she got comfortable and dropped the facade once in a while. She cares more about her public image than friends. There is a reason everyone that originally surrounded her has pulled away. She needs people to think she is popular, doesn't care about views, and loves everyone. It couldn't be further from the truth. She almost has a pageant queen facade. Forced smile, superficial, and world peace, everyone.

Tab would drop hints now and again in various places or tell other people things. Then when Tab treated those people like shit, they shared information they were told. Tab has no loyalty to Jen either but WUIM is so intertwined into her life it is almost like she has no idea how to exist without it. She has told some people that she would walk away if Jen stopped listening to her demands/advice. I don't think she ever would though. She is too invested. She needs to control something. She told a few people that she was keeping a tally of all the times Jen made her mad or did something she didn't like. And if the tallies got to a predetermined number she was going to take WUIM from Jen. How, I don't know. She has also said she trademarked What's Up In Makeup, but I've never seen proof of that. But I think Jen could fight that and should if it is true.

I genuinely feel bad for her in the way she has described her life in bits and pieces. It seems as if she has no control of her own life/depends on at least one person for basic needs like shopping. I don't know about her life much before WUIM except she developed a handful of websites for people. (They are very basic & poorly designed.) She also offered to make/host websites for other small influencers but as far as I know they all turned her down. I know she is reading this, so hopefully she realizes people wouldn't think of her as a miserable control freak if she stopped trying so hard to convince everyone she has this superior life and she is better than everyone. Your just like the rest of us, Tab. Chill on the ego. There is no need to be so condescending and rude. Get help. You don't have to be miserable all the time.

I'm not surprised at all Jen went back in her previous statements on brands/people she would avoid. She doesn't have any true convictions. Majority of people in her group hated JS, so she stopped mentioning JS. But the videos containing controversial brands/people gets more views. We all know she is VERY attached to her views.

I would love to know if that's true. I do know she guards Jen's WUIM name like her life depends on it. And has said on several occasions she thought/planned for it to be picked up for TV. That's why I find it really fucking weird for Tab to say she was trademarking WUIM and not Jen. WUIM existed before anyone knew Tab existed. I'm still not sure how Tab came across Jen, especially since Tab doesn't like makeup. My understanding is she messaged Jen to offer to build a website for her. Jen possibly turned her down but Tab was relentless. All of that fits the MO other influencers have told about Tab.

First time posting in this thread, but her Facebook group is such a fucking joke. I'm no longer a member, I just couldn't handle the hypocrisy any more. Jen is almost completely uninvolved with it and the admins are following everything Tabitha says. Most (not all) are completely rude to members if they even *slightly* violate one of their extensive list of rules (ironically, being rude to other members is against the rules, but apparently not for admins.) Some of the rules aren't even listed in the actual rule post but they expect members to know them anyway! Also, if you don't follow the rules, you're tagged in a thread of shame to let the entire group know you've done something wrong! It's such a toxic environment and I don't miss it at all. If Jen had any ounce of grit whatsoever, she would have never let the group evolve into what it is today.

Tabitha is a PSYCHOPATH!!!! Ever notice how the "reporters" for the show change quite frequently at the end of the show?? Its because of that crazy woman. She belittles you, treats you like the biggest piece of shit. It's absolutely insane.

People asked if the reporters got paid LOL they don't even get a thank you!!! There is literally a group chat of former news reporters just sharing their stories and it's always bc of Tab that they leave. I could go on and on.

People are also correct when they say Jen does nothing besides read the script. Tabitha does EVERYTHING. No one has seen what she looks like..its just weird. I also think she does A LOT more for Jen than anyone realizes. The makeup minutes?? Yup, that's not Jen who comes up with it. Again, just reads a script and I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't even edit these. Wouldn't be surprised if most videos are also mostly Tab produced. Jen used to have to talk to Tab before she made ANY decisions. Regarding anything to do with Jens channel, not just WUIM.

I remember one time Tabitha literally "yelled" at Jen on Periscope bc Jen didn't feel like wearing lashes that day to film WUIM!! And Tab told her "ALWAYS LASHES WHEN FILMING!!" That lady has serious control issues!!!

Dude Tabitha sounds freaking scary!! If I was Jen, I’d cut ties with her ASAP (and keep my mind open to a restraining order if needed lol). Guess she feels comfortable with that but god knows I wouldn’t!
