I totally get what you mean. You're right about some of them being cool. The others need to get over themselves.klovada wrote:Some of them are actually really sweet and non drama seeking. But the others are god awful. I know many of them are like 13 so I feel bad for saying this, but every thing that comes out of their mouths in the comment sections are so cringe. They're the brattiest, meanest little shits. I just stopped skimming through the comment sections of the divorce videos yesterday because I could not stand how entitled they were coming off. They were giving off such a "You need to TRY harder! What about us??" One of them told me I deserved to be left at the side of a gas station (lol) just because I told them to be nicer. It's really like they can't function without their regular Joshleen vlogs.justaspark wrote:In my case for disliking them, I blame their fans. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Their fans are one of the most horrible people I've ever witnessed. They're all so catty and ready to jump on people for the stupidest shit. They swear they have life figured out when the people they idolize can't even get their shit together. Before Colleen would tell her audience to stop being the disgusting brats they are, but she kind of started enabling them after a while with all the attention seeking and the cryptic drama. Josh... He just kept going with this sad puppy in the corner act and that got old.
I kind of feel bad for some of their fans. They dedicated their whole identities towards a couple and now that the couple doesn't exist, they don't know what to do.
I'm excited to see how those attention seeking new YouTubers, that always dominate Colleen/Josh's comment sections, try to milk the divorce for views. Perhaps a fake cry? Maybe a suitcase in the background?
Oh. And sorry if I sound extremely angry when I spoke about their fans. I've just never had such a bad vibe towards a group of people before.

There's ads on both of them. How my YouTube page works is sometimes it'll play with an ad and sometimes it won't. It usually depends how long/how many videos you've watched at that time when you pick the next video. Sometimes it doesn't show an ad and sometimes it will. First time I watched Josh's it didn't have ads the first time I watched hers it didn't. Second time for both it didn't but third time it did. It just depends on factors while you're on the website.Ned Pro wrote:Agreed 100%!!! I don't know how YouTube works, but would that affect the fact that Colleen did not monetize her video, but Josh did?

Not at all saying it will happen, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised. She feeds off that drama and attention, and what better chapter of their epic love story than this huge moment of reconciliation. But as someone mentioned it was just a month ago when she put the lock on the bridge about always choosing each other, now its so drastic as to get divorced? Just really makes you wonder what in the world actually happened.klovada wrote:They only uploaded the divorce announcement videos on Friday and they weren't going to file a divorce until they announced it first. You would think they would've been a little less vague and more insistent that it's truly over. I have a weird gut feeling that Colleen is going to change her mind and either she pre planned a dramatic reunion or will capitalize on one if/when she does. I thought about it last night ( Sorry if it posted, I cant find it... this site doesn't work well on my phone ) But wheres the publicity stunt believers? Would an epic flight rushing to Georgia to confess her love and that she's making a mistake to Josh be perfect? Super dramatic, and vlog worthy. How many hits something like that would get. Not saying its a stunt, but I could soo see it happening.
I was always more of a Colleen fan, josh tries too hard a lot in my opinion - the Vogging days is what I liked, whats his channel had become is awful. But I don't understand how they "worked on things" or whatever else Rachel said when she was away 95% of the time.. thats not working on anything. I feel like there wasn't any real trying on her end. I don't know but it is sad. Divorce sucks.

Good catch with the locker! I'd missed that part. It makes me even more sad... it's easy to promise things when you're in a spree... one must see what people do when things get really dark. I know I don't know most of the things that have happened behind the scenes, but I can't help but thinking that she just gave up and checked out of the relationship after some hard times.mrsamb wrote:Long time lurker.. had to finally join in. I full on cried at their wedding video last night. I'm a 28 year old married woman FFS!! It's just so sad though, I feel awful for him.
I feel like something definitive may have happened when she came back from Europe. At the beginning of this blog in Germany a month ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TXyd6kbOxA she wrote "Josh and Colleen Evans, I will always choose you" etc on a padlock before tying it to a bridge. Hardly definitive, but I feel like she wouldn't have done this if she planned on leaving him. Maybe when she got home she found out that he'd gone to Playlist to spite her or something (in a "now you'll know what it's like to be left at home on your own" way) Or fall out from the prank that went wrong. She must have been holding back her doubts for a while then something finally clinched it for her.
I wonder if Josh or one of his loved ones reacted to Rachel's livestream video which is why it got taken down.. of course they're going to support Colleen, but considering he didn't want this divorce, I can imagine it would be pretty hard for him to hear "it had to happen" from his brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
I am in a marriage and man, it can be elating and it can be mortifying. But at the end of the day, if you love, you stay. Bye Colleen, have a great career and always have an assistant beside you, because it's lonely at the top.

I do think that sometimes, near the end of a relationship that you know in your heart is not working (but don't want to acknowledge it), you can tend toward romantic gestures like the lock thing as a last-ditch effort. So I'd say that either for Colleen, this was a matter of acknowledging to herself something she's known for a long time about the relationship (and it was realization she couldn't take back once she had it), or something big and deal-breaking did happen after she got back from Europe.

I think at some point she'll regret it but I hope for his sake he lets her go. He deserves someone who can offer what he wants he deserves to be happy and not question the stability lock comment was a smart catch. Yeah you wouldn't do that if you were gonna break up. I think she got mad cause she wanted to see him waiting for her to get home then realized he wasn't going to then it triggered something else and words were fired and the family and maybe korey had an intervention. I think something got triggered and it snowballed into this. I wonder if he's gonna go with it or if him or her is going to drag out the process. My moms last divorce the husband wanted the divorce but dragged it out for two years, they had no kids together so that wasn't a factor. I feel like it hasn't fully hit her yet and when it gets to the time to sign she'll find an excuse to hold out or stall or stop all together. I've watched two personally and many as a paralegal. Most times it's not a cut black and white decision. They go through the motions but when that time comes to make it official it's like oh fuck what am I doing.

I found these tweets. Looks like Colleen wasn't happy with Josh's decision to adopt a dog & they had fights over that as well. Someone posted how Josh needed someone to come home to & keep him company hence why he adopted Shadow but from the tweets it seems Colleen's really pissed off that he didn't ask her permission before adopting & didn't obey her commands, like "how dare he do something that I don't approve of" she comes across as extremely dominating because Josh even mentioned how her tweets were "dramatic & untrue" Now that they've announced the divorce every little tweet & vlog are like a piece of a puzzle that finally make sense.
Maybe I'm reaching but notice the tweet? Every corner of "MY" house. Not our house, the house but "MY HOUSE"

I watched both of them multiple times and her video doesn't have any adds (not even those ads who run on the banners)...she could have forgotten to take them down when she first posted, but now there are no adds on her video. Josh video is being monetized since the beginning and is still running adds. That shows a lot about him as a person! Umm not quite how it went down, live stream for 2nd August she berates him for not getting the dog before she goes away. The tweets you posted were from when it all went pear shaped.YouslessTube wrote:I found these tweets. I just saw the trailer of HBO. On Netflix I won't give YouTube page an ounce of time lol. It still didn't seem that fast paced or whatever. It does have a very Napolen Dynamite look to it. Personally I didn't like Napoleon so I don't think I'll like this lol.
With the Tweets thanks! I've been wanting to see that! And it is interesting she put claim to the house. I've had a puppy and a kitten and yeah they peed and pooped in areas and it was a pain to clean but also not the end of the world. I think her tweets make it clear she didn't want it to begin with but was being nice cause she didn't really have a say cause she wasn't gonna be home. He's also a guy so maybe in his mind he did think it wasn't that bad? I think it was I came home from a long trip and MY house wasn't the way I left it. The dog and maybe something else was the catalyst. I know that I have a one year old kitten I got when I moved out on my own my mom was pissed simply because she didn't have a say in it and she sees my things and gets nervous I'm getting things to smell like cat and what not. I'm sure Colleen felt the same way. If you remember her vlogs or snapchat back during the day he got prepared for shadow she was like oh god look, Joshua is getting a dog omg. She didn't seem thrilled or excited in the least.

Re: PsychoSoprano (Colleen Ballinger) - Part 2
Devils advocate he could have forgotten too. I know when I have gotten on websites where I know my ex is I get on and off as soon as possible and I tend to forget to do it too. I don't know him I don't know her but all I know is if I was in their shoes the last thing I'd be worried about is if I turned off the ads on the video. I recently listened to a podcast on Jenna and Julien's channel and from how Jenna made it sound it goes on automatically. When I've posted on YouTube in the past (I took everything down a few years ago for reasons) it automatically added the ads. I didn't click on anything and I didn't see an obvious choice to choose not to have ads. If I was in either of their shoes it would have probably been an accident. I don't think he's been on since the upload (maybe once or twice since but probably for a purpose and he's been avoiding the video and comments. I think Colleen has been looking and noticed the comment of the ads and that's what made her turn ads off cause let's face it, staying off the media entirely was never her strong suit. I remember in past break ups if I had to get on the social media for something I was so scared I'd run into something regarding my ex that it took me 5 tries to actually do the thing I got on social media for. I'm not defending him or slamming her, there's a bunch going on behind the scenes that we'll probably never know. All we'll ever really get is the puzzle pieces they left behind. I do find it interesting Rachel privated her livestream and Colleen privated her convo about the producer. I kinda get the livestream, but still if you were fine saying it Saturday night why the change now? As for the producer, maybe people would use it and confuse it as a puzzle piece for the divorce reasoning?manuelcosta wrote:I watched both of them multiple times and her video doesn't have any adds (not even those ads who run on the banners)...she could have forgotten to take them down when she first posted, but now there are no adds on her video. There's a vlog from May 15 of this year called Getting Something Off My Chest where he talks about how there are divorce rumors and that they are "extreme". He also talks about how its hard to not be with Colleen and that its hard to not grow with her/ be in on her day to day/ jokes.

She wanted him to get a dog. Josh wasn't going to, but she told him he could. He wanted a dog and they talked about it.
I think some things are being looked at way to closely. Colleen has talked about being in therapy before. She isn't shallow or ignorant. And it is very clear that this decision wasn't made lightly.
I guess you have to go through this to really understand it. It's not a simple thing like people think. Sometimes love just ain't enough.

No one is saying that Colleen is shallow and ignorant, she is a very smart lady. And of course she is in pain for this decision.Rebelheart311 wrote:She wanted him to get a dog. Josh wasn't going to, but she told him he could. He wanted a dog and they talked about it.

What some of us are saying is that there were very clear signs that the relationship wasn't going to last because of mismatched expectations of what the marriage was going to be like, and they (both) let it degenerate hoping for the best.
However, between the two I empathise the most with Josh, who is clearly the one who will have the worst consequences: emotionally, but also socially and professionally. I hope that if he comes back, he will have enough confidence and energy to completely rebrand himself and show us what he is really like, and not only his goofy poop-making persona.
I'm sorry Colleen chose a divorce. I wonder when all that 'therapy' took place and what kind of shit must have happened in the 13 months after their perfect and happy wedding, that didn't happened in the 8 years before while they were together. They did even split once, so they were already used to the separation. No one will ever know.

Re: PsychoSoprano (Colleen Ballinger) - Part 2
Watching the Oreos challenge again. When I first watched it I felt like something was off. It seemed like she was rushing him through it and he wanted it to be a nice bonding experience, maybe kind of like what the lollipop or chap-stick challenge but she didn't want to because she did it with a previous YouTuber. It just seemed so rushed it's why it's not one of my favorites.
And she freaked out with the gum. I could tell he was joking because my significant other has the same personality and humor. But when he joked about the gum she just spazzed out. Idk looking back at their old videos and challenges they always did it together. When this came out it felt like he initially wanted her to do it with him and then he just compromised so he'd get to spend at least some time with her.
Edit--I take the always doing it together, he did the baby food challenge alone while she fed him (I didn't see it originally cause it's from 2013) but it was a lot less uncomfortable than the Oreo challenge. It just looked a lot more relaxed. In the oreo challenge it just felt like she didn't want to be there and she wanted to get on with her day.
@purplequeen, hahahahahah. Please tell me how you can tell lol. made me feel better about my post. She may have agreed to the puppy but the snapchat/vlog about it she did not seem that excited when the actual time came for the dog. She seemed more scared than excited. I knew they talked about wanting a pet but her reaction when he got the supplies was not the reaction of a person excited to have a new member of the family joining.
I also hope he comes back. I am really curious to see what kind of person he is without Colleen. I don't hate Colleen but I think he fell head over heels for her and before he knew it he got caught up in what the Miranda channel and fame demanded but he loves her so in his mind it was worth it. I hope Georgia and his best friend is helping. I know how it feels to not be at peace on a decision you have no say in, it's painful and it's even more painful knowing nothing can be done on the decision being made. I hope he's doing okay.
