Decorating Bedroom Help

I have the Ikea Lilliesand bedframe, a black vintage styled metal frame. But I am interested in the Malm dressing table also. I know I could paint it black but I like the way it looks white. Do you think a black bed frame with white furniture would look right/good?

I don't see why not. Black and white go well together, and the bedframe is thin and narrow while the desk is pretty solid, so their styles will differentiate them as well and make them complementary rather than having to match. It also depends what other furniture and colors you have in the room. Actually a lot of times it doesn't look right for all of your furniture to be the same color scheme or shade of wood, because it makes it look too uniform. It's good to have some variety.
