Sorry, I guess that's what happens when you post train of thought jumbles in the small hours! No edit button either.
So do you think your grammar suffers when online also?
My grammar is shameful.

It really only suffers slightly, I think. My mom was an English teacher, so I think I picked up a lot from her over the years.

No, quite the opposite. I find I'm much more articulate online (with written communication in general) though I type fast and always have typos. I then post too soon before proof-reading my sentences.

I'm a blundering, stuttering fool in person; online is my grammatical refuge.
I WISH YOU WOULD, bitch nozzle.
Re: My grammar is shameful.
I'm a former teacher so I try to make sure my grammar and spelling are correct most of the time, even in live chat rooms.
Re: My grammar is shameful.
Guess I'm in the minority then!
I'm such a bloody hypocrite as I detest poor grammar, it's the needless abbreviations too.
Let's just say I make unintentional typos, yep that are non existent when pen is put to paper.
Crisis resolved.

Yeah my grammar's pretty awful!
I try my best with it but then I get all confused and it goes all wrong. It's weird cause I used to be pretty good with it while I was at school, but now it's really awful. Not sure why either!

Re: My grammar is shameful.
When I write things down for school or when I have important papers that I have to write, I make sure my grammar is correct and I'm pretty good with grammar and spelling.
But online in forums, chats, etc, I don't really care so much... sometimes i don't cap my i or use apostrophes, type u for you. I do it because it takes less time for me.

Re: My grammar is shameful.
I do struggle with grammar, but try very hard to always use correct English online. I don't want to get into sloppy habits and it doesn't really take any longer if you are used to it. It's a good opportunity to learn to touch type actually which is always a handy skill to have! I have also seen too many people online post something that everyone has misunderstood because of the sloppy spelling or punctuation.

Re: My grammar is shameful.
i don't really bother with it on the internet. i distinguish between the regular mistakes (your and you're etc), but i don't bother with capital letters or anyhing while i'm on forums or talking with my friends. it kinda hurts my grammar in school though, since i'm used to not caring about my grammar online, so i have to be extra careful while writing essays or such
just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right

Awful. Not a native English speaker, so yeah...
You might notice some spelling mistakes or grammar errors. Sorry, not a native English speaker.

Re: My grammar is shameful.
I try my best, but I'm really bad at commas and use them too often or in the wrong places or leave them out completely.
