For your Infotainment: How to make a GIF.

Hi Everyone, UmNo here. I split this out of the Vlog thread as others may find it useful.

go to the vid you want to make a gif from and add 'gif'. it would take you here:


select the time stamp you want and how long you want your gif to be:


once you're ready, click 'create gif'.

once it finishes processing, you would be redirected to this page. click the chain icon and copy the gif link:


you can now copy and paste that link to imgur and copy the imgur bb code link to GG

Hey guys! Finally getting into making gifs and I'd like to add one to my signature but it says it can't go over 250px x 450px and I've already tried to resize it on imgur!! Please help I wanna put this gif in my signature:

I think that file might be busted which is why it's not working. I made you another one with the proper size, hope you don't mind?


I was able to edit all of my images and gifs on imgur except this file which is why I said it might be corrupt. For anybody else trying to resize, imgur should work. If it doesn't, try creating the gif again with a new link and see what that does.

i saw someone over at the daily vlogs thread asking how to make a gif avatar.
everything can be done online; i use ezgif to crop or resize gifs.
