Re: emilynoel83 part 5
What a beautiful baby. To me it looked like Emily was wearing minimal makeup. I think the bright lipstick makes her look more made up. Congrats to them.

I'm aware. I sent her a pm regarding my post.esslyt wrote:No need to be rude, even on a gossip site.Sassycat wrote:Good for you. I went into labor in early evening and had full makeup on from the day, I was still dressed nicely and I just went to the hospital. When you're in labor you don't stop to think 'Oh man, people will think I'm so insecure if I go to the hospital with makeup on!'

All I was saying is that because she's Emily, then of course she was already wearing makeup because she wears it every day. Didn't mean it in a positive or negative way.

I think belle wins the cutest YouTube baby award so far. (Rachhloves might have been a winner too, but she won't show a pic so who knows. Sore subject -__-)
I can't get over her! Can't wait to watch belle grow up.

Don't mind me, I still consider myself a lurker/newbie here, but isn't all this "omg Belle is so cute/ Emily will make a great mom" talk more suited to the rave thread?

Re: emilynoel83 part 5
You are right, but even us cackling witches in the trash thread can appreciate a cute baby I don't mind it, Belle is cute and Emily's skills in makeup are still bad, nothing changed. And trashing doesn't mean mindless attacking and bullying a person if there is no real reason for it. For example, you should see coffeebreakwithdani's thread, there are more vicious comments there, but Dani is a bitch. Emily is not. And you can't really trash someones eyebrows or makeup skills in yt comments freely so everything is alright with the world.katelynbby wrote:Don't mind me, I still consider myself a lurker/newbie here, but isn't all this "omg Belle is so cute/ Emily will make a great mom" talk more suited to the rave thread?

I don't care that she wore make up during labor. She wanted do so she did. People wear make up while working out. I know a lady who puts on make up as soon as she wakes up. She wouldn't let anyone see her without make up. All that aside, I am really happy for Emily. That's a cute baby. I really hope she doesn't go the Judy way and start daily vlogging.

I patiently await the slew of baby-swag reviews from EM. Especially if they were gifts.

Taking a days old baby out to Target, really? I am sorry but that is so irresponsible. We are entering cold and flu season not to mention that terrible entrovirus going around. I get taking a baby out for a little fresh air but there is no way I would take a newborn out to a store

Re: emilynoel83 part 5
My mom took me out to Dennys the day after I was born and I turned out fine (I actually have a great immune system, I maybe get sick once or twice a year, and it's usually just sniffles). I mean as long as strangers aren't sticking their faces in hers and breathing on her or touching her I don't see the harm.

Re: emilynoel83 part 5
The harm is a newborn does not have immunity to anything. they haven't even had their shots yet. Some people get lucky and their kid doesn't get sick and others do. It's just not a chance I would take. My doctor said not to take my baby out in public until 2 weeks old at the earliest and I wont. There is nothing as important as the health of my baby. It would be horrible if Belle got sick. You just never know what germs are out there
Re: emilynoel83 part 5
Not in a place to comment about whether or not they should have taken Belle to Target as I know next to nothing about child rearing, but actually, newborns DO have immunity. They receive antibodies and other immune cells via the colostrum. This is why mothers are encouraged to breastfeed their child the very first time, even if they plan on using formula later on.Marshall art suit wrote:The harm is a newborn does not have immunity to anything. they haven't even had their shots yet. Re: emilynoel83 part 5
They only have immunity to what the mother has immunity to and that isn't every cold/ other virus out there. The way my doctor explained it is not count on my immunity to protect the baby 100% because I have a weaker immune system to begin with not to mention your more likely catch something after having a baby because it takes such a toll on your body. That's also why they want a new mom to rest as much as possible when they get home. Take the entovirus going around for example. That doesn't seem to be doing much to adults but those poor kids they show on the news in the hospital look miserable. I don't know how an infant would fair with a illness like that. Not to mention RSV. I have read about infants dying from it. Belle may be just fine with her immune system and I really hope she is I just hope Emily is very careful in the future. You just never know what is going around. Taking them out for fresh air seems to be ok from what I hear it's just the exposure to people when it's not needed

That choice works for you. Many moms take their children out right away. It's every mother's choice. Sometimes you can't help it and have to go out.
To bring it back to topic, has Emily mentioned posting a blog or video ? I don't follow her on social media.

She hasn't said anything. She's only popping up every once in a while to post a pic and a short blurb about the pic.

I think she mentioned taking a week or two off youtube because of the newborn baby schedule.maluca wrote:That choice works for you. Many moms take their children out right away. It's every mother's choice. Sometimes you can't help it and have to go out.

Re: emilynoel83 part 5
I thought she had mentioned trying to film at least a little something ahead of time so she'd maybe have one or two videos to post during her baby hiatus but maybe she didn't get around to doing that.
It will be interesting to see what happens. As obsessed as Emily has always been with makeup, I could almost see the baby rabies taking over and her turning everything into a parenting channel or something. Maybe I will be wrong. Some past makeup you tubers that I really liked just dropped off the face of the earth once their first little tyke entered the picture.
