I don't think they're racists at all. It's just more work finding models. They had this girl sit for them in a few videos (the one with Vanessa Paradis looks) and they were going on and on how they were gathering courage to approach her Then there's a question of payment. Knowing how much they make, I don't think anyone should agree to do it for free (as ridiculous as it sounds, being that it's supposed to be the other way around). But hey, if you're an "Youtube MUA", you gotta deal with job's specifics LOL

Half Face Make up

So much work and so much product - only to end up looking worse than the no makeup half. They both can look quite manly when they go overboard with makeup. They don't exactly have very girly features to begin with. And they always lean to those harsh lines 80s style looks. Doesn't help.

About the eyebrow thing they do can I just say they don't look natural, I myself have very dark thick eyebrows and am very light handed when I fill them in but they suit me since I have dark hair, my point is, I know full eyebrows are in and I think they look better than thin harsh ones but they do not suit these witches

That always seems to be the case with them. They don't have the sensibility to keep things natural so every look comes out looking harsh. Any so-called "makeup artist" that walks around with eyebrows like theirs would never be hired in my books. Their whole lot (pixiwoos & Tanya Burr) often slip and reveal their true chavy selves by trying really hard to come off as classy. It's a bit sad really. They may have found success on YouTube but they will NEVER reach the levels of Lisa Eldridge or Charlotte Tilbury. Those two are naturally gifted and respected by the social circles that the Chapman sisters and Tanya Burr could only dream of being a part of.

It's interesting when you look at their video views. They have over a million subs and a couple of their more recent videos don't even have 100K views (they are videos by Nic, no surprise lol). Mostly they seem to hover in the 100K view range with some into the 200Ks. Compare their views with those Tanya gets. And they seem to be about on par with Lisa Eldridge's views even though she has half their number of subscribers.

Every look Nic does is the same: so much blusher she looks like she's having a hormonal flush; harsh black eyebrows that would suit no one, ever, and overdrawn, drag-esque lips that look strange and sluggy. Sam is no better, all her looks are wannabe edgy, she so fancies herself as a Kristen Stewart lookalike. They both need to get over themselves.

I don't get what's so wrong about them not using black models. I think it's perfectly acceptable that they recreate the looks on themselves so lighter skinned people know how to create that same kind of look. They're white people, they're going to specialise in doing looks for other white people. There are plenty of other gurus out there with various skin colours so if you're looking for somebody who does makeup suited to your skin tone then it's not so hard to look elsewhere. Goddd, you's are making a big deal out of nothing.
