Indeed. They must be solid details too. For example, job title, how she got the job, hours, did she go for an interview. I don't expect her to compromise her privacy, but I fear she may just say something vague that could apply to just about anything, including earning pennies filling surveys online.

Opinions/ recap about the financial Q&A

Question 1 part 1: She's the one in charged of doing the monthly budget and her and Colby don't really talk about it she just sort of at the end of the month says "hey I did this with our budget" For example: "Hey Colby I payed all of MY student loans with our budget (your money)".

Question 1 part 2: Again more talk about how she's the one who wanted a monthly budget so they could both get out of debt. Which of course when she says both it's just her debt that is being taken care of.

Question 1 part 3: Colby got his friends to use the envelope system. Which Jamie describes as "cool"... idk this seems really weird to me probably reflects their lack of social skills.

Question 2 part 1: They're saving to buy another car. They're doing some work on Colby's car and when that's done they'll probably sell it. "They've always been a two car family" You know because having cars that you don't drive is smart She also says that having two cars makes things more convenient.... which is why Colby rides a bike to work?? ...... Pretty much Jamie talks a bunch about cars which is a topic that she is completely clueless about.... She also keeps saying "halever halever halever" which almost made me click out of the video.

Question 3: Talks about not having cable. Which is one of the few decisions they make which I agree with.

Question 4: They don't have pet insurance. They know when their pets will need things like shots ahead of time so they will add it to their monthly budget.

Question 5: Talks about how not to splurge. Which he advice consists of giving yourself money to splurge so that when you do splurge you won't feel bad about it.... which doesn't really help if the person asking has a splurging problem and they will just give themselves a bunch of money to splurge

Question 6: Talks about extra expenses during the move. In which just after she answered a question on how to avoid splurging she proceeds to talk about all of the stuff they bought for their house and justifies it by saying that they "needed" these items, even tho in her haul video she showed a lot of items which she still didn't know what to do with them but she was sure that she was going to use them.

Question 7: She says she's always been fascinated by money and budgets.... but in the beginning of the video talks about how her and Colby weren't serious about paying off their debt 2 years ago. She reads all of these financial articles and watches all of these videos which is probably why she feels like she's such an expert of finances. This is also her idea of fun= lack of social skills.

I haven't watched yet either but they are STILL saving for another car? What happened to the $8,000 she claimed they already had? Oh that's right, she probably spent that on the bed and other things instead of putting it toward their debt which would be smarter since they don't NEED two cars despite what she tries to say.

My eyes rolled out of my head when I read that. How seriously dumb are they?! They are both financial nitwits. Even simple operations cost an absolute fortune. My aunt paid £500 just to have an x-ray and some meds for her cat. If those cats get a chronic illness or complicated injuries they are going to end up being put down!

So, she does a finance video and doesn't once mention the new job. Wouldn't this be the ideal video to announce the job, even if you said you would do a more detailed video later. That girl is full of shit.

I went through the comments of her 'Moving Is Expensive Debt Update' video and I can't find her comment saying she had a job. She must have deleted it. Pretty slick Jamie. But did you forget about screenshots?

The screenshots are really just here though, the general "fanbase" doesn't see them unless they go looking for them. Though I wonder how she's gonna get out of people asking her about her job now, she already said it in the comments, and people did read them, not just GGers. It was a dumb lie to tell if she was lying (95% sure she was, otherwise why the secrecy?) because now people are vaguely aware of her saying it

I think she is relying on the fact that YT minions don't like to question their idols.

It makes me wonder whether Colby reads her social media. If my partner was writing lies online I would think it was time we had a serious talk!

Why many consider them poor? How is this even possible? I just imagined that with a job like his, they wouldn't have to worry too much about certain expenses. Maybe he has a secret saving account? Are they just super cheap and they give off a poor vibe?
I mean some people make ends meet working at fast foods (no disrespect, the pay is just different), there is just something I don't get.

Ok here is a pro financial tip for Jamie:

Drive your husband to work, pick him up. The money you'd save by having just one car could go for your student loans. I mean...is that so difficult??

She makes them seem poor. She talks up his job when in reality a lot are skeptical that he makes as much as she likes to make it seem. On top of that, their home (or their tastes I guess) make it seem so too. She's so hard up to be as frugal as possible that it just doesn't jive with him having this great paying job.

With two people and as much as he makes the numbers just don't seem to add up. Either they are hiding something (extra bills or maybe he does have a secret account which would be smart) or he doesn't make as much as she'd like to make it seem he does.

Again I'll say it makes zero sense for her to need a car when she does not work outside of the home. She would need it maybe one day out of the week or if she had an appointment. Other then that, that vehicle should be for him to take to and from work. She thinks they are saving money by him biking but then you need to add in costs of washing extra clothing since he "showers" when he gets to work. I'm sure it would end up being the same as if he would just drive himself to and from work.

And The problem with the money is that they think they are way more well off than they really are. Also her financial advice is laughable, she has no idea what she's talking about.

Yeah I know he has to bike (and before walk) to work, but I just read they are considering buying another car, which I suppose he will use to to reach his workplace. She could just drive him there and they wouldn't need a second car. That's what I meant
