how on earth have they been there for so long and barely seen anything other than instagram cafes??? what a waste of an experience. there is so much to see in NY and especially since it's Zoe's first proper visit they should be going to all the classic attractions but instead they just stand up against walls and stoops to take contrived photos. imagine if they were actually good at their social media jobs and took cool shots of NY architecture or even OOTD's in central park or on the streets of soho. they really haven't done anything they don't already do in brighton

So they finally went to the 9/11 memorial...gosh, I hope they were respectful. If I watch that vlog and they’re laughing and smiling, I’m going to lose it. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people pose in front of the memorial with big smiles plastered on their faces

Does anyone think it’s stupid that Alfie booked that particular restaurant because SATC? If he knew anything about the movie, he’d know
A. Carrie didn’t get married there. She got married at the courthouse.
B. Carrie didn’t get engaged there. They got engaged in Big’s kitchen.
C. That restaurant is where the rehearsal dinner was held, which was an absolute disaster because that’s the moment Big started to question their marriage, and ultimately where everything went downhill and resulted in Carrie being jilted.

So... that necklace. I can’t decide whether I’m disgusted, or if I’m completely unsurprised by their frivolity. The prices of those chains and pendants are absolutely ridiculous. Holy shit.

I know these people are raking in the cash, but $3-9,000 for a trinket she’ll only wear a couple of times, then inevitably swap it out for something she got for free out of her PO Box??? I’d feel bad for Alfie spending the money if he weren’t so insufferable himself.

And yes, Zoe was absolutely hopeful for an elaborate birthday proposal. Wonder if she realizes that most average engagement rings cost what Alfie just spent on that ghetto necklace.
