I think Lauren has this paranoia about her "job" and people wondering how she earns money to pay for things. As meanwhile Reece is the only one who leaves the house for work. While Lauren sits at home in her pjs, rants on Snapchat, watches tv and tackles the washing!

Her rant seems totally weird, like she’s 25 now. Most people that age have got uni degrees and earning good money- my brother was a FIFO engineer at 23, he was earning heaps.
I’m her age, I’ve never had anyone question how much I make, where my money comes from. It also doesn’t bother me if they assume my hubby earns more than me or if my parents are paying for it.
I think Lauren wants to be seen as a strong independent woman, yet can leave the house and buy some chairs without having a snap chat rant.

She must be going crazy being at home all the time, I’ve had to work from home for the past month and I hate it!!! I couldn’t imagine doing it for years. I’ve been excited when the postie delivers mail because I get to talk to someone

Lol exactly, it's not sexist or misogynistic as she was trying to portray in her snap story that the guy asked what Reece does. She's at home in PJs in the middle of the day doing housework, the normal assumption would be that she's a housewife.

I loved how she said she didn't want to waste her energy on explaining gender equality to a man stuck in the 50's who asked about her car as she rants about it on snap....I also failed to see how his question was insulting. How was he supposed to know she flat out bought such an expensive car unless she walked around dripping in designer labels?

I think Lauren is going to alienate a lot of her followers. I used to follow her but even I’m offended by her comments.
What’s wrong with a car lease? No one I know can or wants to drop $80k on a depreciating asset.

As for “paying with two cards” that’s actually a good question because most cards have a daily limit - it’s better to know in advance rather than have the payment declined and then do it as a split payment.

Most people will never have the money that Lauren has. She’s acting like a spoilt princess, like how dare anyone question where her money comes from, everyone should assume that she’s a hard working woman. But she’s not, she got lucky and sits in her pjs of course people are going to assume that her partner is the bread winner.
No one over 40 would know who she is.

Good point! And the sales assistant was probably just asking from experience that people have used two cards in the past to pay for the items

But maybe Lauren should of taken the lead and handed over the card herself and do all the talking. She probably just stood there in her leggings and jumper and hid behind Reece!

I still think for her own mental health she needs to get out the house on a regular basis and go and volunteer somewhere.

It actually disgusted me the way she was talking. Does she realise what she is even saying? Like she is basically humble bragging about being able to sit at home and getting paid to do nothing. When is her time up? She needs to go further down in YouTube land and then have to get a real job.

I actually can't believe how she's become. I've been watching her old videos from 2-3 years ago and wow what a world of difference. When she was living in Bondi in Sydney she was so interesting, fun, and engaging to watch. Her content was actually exciting. Lol I remember being like 14 years old and gawking over her amazing life and aspiring to be/live like her. Now to see her as a dull, lifeless zombie self-contained in that house in Perth, barely going out or socialising or... doing ANYTHING for that matter is shocking. It's like each aspect of her life downgraded: her personality, her appearance, her social life, her aesthetic, etc.. she's become one of those overly privileged white aussie chicks lol.
Btw, does anyone know anything about the place she used to live in in Sydney? It was in Bondi, right? But I recall she said she moved to a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom in Bondi. The place was stunning and location incredible. How much would hers have cost a week?

My partner today just brought a BMW outright, they asked if he was financing at first, then asked if he wanted to pay on multiple cards.
They even asked if he had rich parents....

I really wonder what Max Connectors do? Lauren is supposed to be their top talent, yet you see nothing from them. Lauren's not even big in the social scene in Perth.
