That new video pisses me off so much! I hate how she keeps painting herself like this sweet "people pleaser" who "struggled" to get where she is now. Girrrl, you never struggled a day in your life, most of your backstory is made up, and all the "sad things" that happened to you, e.g. the lawsuit and your makeup line tanking, were all entirely your fault. God, I despise her - she is so damn manipulative. I am sure she's planning some new marketing scheme that is connected to this video's overall message of "simplicity" and whatnot. I felt the same way watching this video. Seems she is getting ready to market something to her audience. If she really wanted to be relatable and take it back to how she first started, why not just sit down in front of the camera and talk to her subscribers instead of the dramatic animation.

I'm new to Michelle's thread (used to watch her but just never bothered to lurk much I guess) but after seeing her newest video after months of her not uploading, I just couldn't believe the shit I was hearing, she makes it out like someone was holding a gun to her head and forced to to be a sellout making her sooo unhappy, but honestly all it shows is how out of touch she is with reality. She talks about being successful and providing for her family in the beginning, so you'd think she'd be feeling lucky and appreciative to have a decent career and a roof over her head, let alone being able to abandon all of your life and responsibilities and jet off to Switzerland for 10 months

The reason she's so depressed is because she got greedy, that's all. If money wasn't making her happy, why didn't she ever do any charity work? No one forced her to sell out and become a hollow shell doing nothing but shilling crap and spewing lies to make a quick buck. She chose to be like that, so she has to deal with the repercussions. Lawsuits for stealing copyrighted music and slapping her name on unsafe products are honestly what she had coming. She can just keep throwing the aforementioned money at her problems since it makes her so unhappy and all She got off lightly considering what an ungrateful and hollow person she seems to have become.

Her point was that money doesn't buy happiness, but it doesn't look like she tried to do anything about it. I have this problem with a lot of youtubers, they seem to live in excess and they're still soo depressed because they let their greed get the best of them and they don't bother to learn anything or contribute to society, they have every opportunity but they waste it and choose to become hollow and soulless and constantly wanting more. Michelle just kept being greedy and shilling more and more and then she just disappeared for 10 months, and no doubt by next month she'll be back into the same cycle. Honestly I don't think she's even changed or ever going to change either, this whole sob story was just an 11 minute trailer for the same crappy person shilling the same crappy stuff in shiny new packaging.

TDLR; She feels like this because she was greedy. She chose to sell out and she's probably never going to change. Somebody give this woman a reality check.

I honestly can't with these rich, out of touch youtubers. Does she really think this will be relate-able to anyone? First time poster, i dislike her but since she left - didn't want to participate. Today this video was suggested to me and i was profoundly baffled how wrong it was on so many levels, so pathetic and melodramatic. And student...of life? Give me a fucking break!
