Re what someone said upthread about whether or not Aslan contributed to the downpayment on Estee's new place....in the UK, cohabiting couples who split don't have the financial protections that married couples do. No concept of community property in this case. So, Estee is not entitled to anything of Aslan's when they split. Anything that is hers outright, she can take with her. Nickle and diming over furniture and tschochkes and household items would just be a negotiation between A and E.

Aslan, out of the goodness of his heart, could gift Estee a sum of money while they're 'partners', but that I think that would be taxed and possibly qualify as income.

As for Estee's book, I seriously doubt she got a big cash advance, but you never know.

I know it’s a stretch but if things got especially contentious she could have threatened to spill the dirt? Though she could be considered complicit in the spending of that dirty money so maybe not. What I can't get my head around is HOW loaded she is compared to other yt who have even more subs than her. Let's get Samantha Maria who has 1.8 subs and still struggles to put money aside to get onto the property ladder...she rents outside London and her lifestyle is far away fron Estee's lavish and luxury life expenses. Does it just come down to who has the best management company?

those Ikea bits and bobs are just temp. She's having the interiors done by Att Pynta designers...designer stuff takes months to order and arrive. I'm sure it will look great when it's finally done.

Hmm, well so much for it being a temporary crash pad until she decides what she wants to do/moves to Brooklyn/etc. Unless she’s planning on doing it up & flipping it fully furnished or renting it out as income at some point, it seems like she’s planning to stay in London long-term.

Estee gets a lot of lucrative sponsorships that frankly Sam just doesn't get. Yeah Sam gets a lot of good deals but think of Estee having years-long contracts with corporations like Adidas and Lancome. Add that to the typical stuff with big brands like Garnier, Fresh, etc., which yes pretty much any decent beauty YTer gets. And she's had stuff like a book come out which no, she didn't get a million dollar advance but it'll still another money maker.

Also you said it there yourself-- Sam's been renting this whole time... Estee has not had to rent for years. If ever... I think her mom probably sent her to London with money to pay her way. She didn't make enough at her month at the Body Shop to pay for rent in London. So these other young women are making big money but still paying their way. Estee has had a big boost in her partner being a millionaire.
