I have mixed feelings about his parents. My personal opinion is that they're either too old to care or have simply given up on him - neither of which is an excuse btw. Perhaps they're from the parenting camp of letting a child fend for themselves after 18 but I don't think they paid that much attention to him as a child. He says he has a loving home life but the only stories I recall surrounding his childhood was his mother going off on the occasional sale associate and camp counselor.

My boyfriend is under the impression that Charles' public persona is nothing more than a massive cry for attention. He's settled for us but his goal has and continues to be his parents. He's thrown everything but the kitchen sink, racial tirades, eating disorders, and now pornography but they aren't biting. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the one posting comments on his Dad's Instagram - we already know he's capable of mailing packages to them. If it doesn't work at least he's got another video out of it.

Never got to read the original post, sorry. Anyone can know who their parents are just by reading the threads in this forum... but I agree, people can sometimes be too much. Imagine someone decides to write to the wrong Charles Gross mom telling their son is selling his pornos for 5 bucks.
